literally the best experience we've ever had to Denny's and we've been to a lot of Denny's in our life. I got a burger omelette, and the vegetables and meats were so expertly seasoned and cooked together. It was the most delicious breakfast I've ever had. The staff is super nice definitely come here for any meal!

Been here few times now--- I do get the part where service people are scarce but come on... this is the 3rd time here and how many times are you going to accept the part where they forget to put your order in? You order food for yourselves to try new things and your server completly forgets to add your order in? Like eggs and hashbrowns are so damn difficult. 3rd time this happened... language barrier is obviously an issue here and becUse of that we repeated our order... my burger came out and we were asked if we arr good... no, we would like the rest of our food... which the reply back was what can I ge mt you...just the food we ordered thanks

This Dennys is a clean,, popular restaurant. The location is a bit funky. You need to approach going east on Dundee rd. The food is good. If you go here, ask for Esma to be your server. She is attentive and serves with a smile. Couldn't be happier with the way she does her job.

I come here for the nostalgia and the fact that nothing else is open this late that's not fast food. My most recent experience was pretty enjoyable - server was polite and attentive. The chicken fried chicken was juicy inside and crispy on the outside - maybe better than most other sit-downs. It went well with the corn and mashed potatoes, and portions were generous. The surrounding area looks a little shady at night but that comes with the territory of late night eats. I'll be back again next time I'm hungry at 1am

If I could give it a negative I would. A friend convinced me to go for my birthday. The waitress who greeted us wouldn't help us find the birthday coupon on the app. One of the managers was being rude. Then the manager she went and got came out and found the coupon. He said she would help us but then she decided to disappear and never came back. Finally the rude manager came and he was honestly not nice at all. Very gruff. Didn't feel welcome. Ate and left and will NEVER go back. Denny's should be ashamed at how far they've fallen over the years. The floor was dirty too.

I love coming to this Denny's. It is very close to my house and during the height of Covid I began coming here to get out of the house and have a change of scenery while I worked. I got to know the servers while I was here and I love that it is family owned. Isabel, Emily (daughters of owner) and Alex are all wonderful as well many others on staff. They take good care of me each and every time I am here.

Denny's of Palatine has Bad Service! My order pick up said it was ready. Went to get my order pick up, just for it not to be ready. Asked if my order was ready three times, they said, " it needs a few things". Later told me they don't have the things for my order. Made me wait 30 min for nothing!

Located on the corner of Rand Road and Dundee, Denny's has been a staple in this neighborhood for years.I haven't been to D's in a while and when I walked in and looked around, it felt like they never quite recovered from the pandemic.--The customers (1/5) were scarce. I only saw two other customers in the 20 minutes I was there.--The booths (1/5) were still set up for social distancing.--The host (4/5) was also my waiter. I'm not 100% sure, but he might've cooked my meal too : )--Everyday Value Slam (3/5) includes 3 eggs, 1 bacon, 1 sausage, 2 pancakes. Pretty much what you would expect from your typical diner. Nothing fancy.
This is my happy place. I love breakfast and anywhere that serves breakfast all day is great in my book. I always get either the pancakes, waffles or French toast. I'll add eggs, bacon, sausage, or hash browns depending on my mood or the deal offered at the time. They're done simple with their classic recipe. Occasionally, I'll get their special flavors for theme months (like Halloween or Fourth of July). It's amazing that you will find people there no matter what time of day you go. The servers are always pretty attentive despite being overwhelmed and never having enough staffing. If I ever have a hankering for breakfast at midnight, there is a good chance that I'll be here.

went in on Sunday at 11:45 am to order 2 super slams to go. Girl taking orders was incompetent. could not figure out how to put order in. Jesus came over and tried to explain to her how to put order in. after paying for what I ordered I noticed there was only one order not 2. Jesus got Emily to come to cash register. Emily was rude and acted like it was my fault the order got messed up. She said girl was new. I said someone should be training her and she should not be taking orders on her own. 25 minutes later I received order. Eggs were over cooked. They were like rubber. Will not be going there on a Sunday again.

This place has gone down hill very quickly! On Monday, they had people waiting to be seated and decided they would stop serving and didn't tell any of the customers. The employees were yelling at each other. The food was falling off the plates and they picked it up with their bare hands and threw back on the plate. I counted 13 empty tables and they couldn't handle the few tables they were serving! This place will close, it's just a matter if time!

This place was a good place to go when I was younger. Went there tonight and I don't plan to go back. My group of 5 wasn't the only one. Small groups of two were loudly complaining of the long wait for food. Every table in the place hadn't been bussed or cleaned. The waiter got everyone's order wrong. The wait time was insane. The place was dirty. The staff was painfully slow and couldn't get a thing right. Rude. Incompetent. Slow. Miserable. Bad tasting undercooked food. You couldn't complain because you'd never see food again if you let them take it. Zero management or working abilities. I felt like I was in a very bad movie. Mercifully it finally ended after insisting on getting a check which also took forever. Holy crap what a terrible experience I wouldn't wish on anybody. Waste of time and money.
