Really good local restaurant. Corned beef came highly recommended. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. Really good menu with many options. We decided on the pot roast sliders with fresh cut fries. They were really good. The fresh cut fries were really good. We also had the chicken soup for an appetizer, but I would pass next time. It was good, but mostly broth for $5. I didn't think it was worth it. The server was slow, and kept forgetting things, and would disappear for extended periods. That was the only lacking thing in an otherwise pleasant experience. Will definitely go back to try other items. I definitely recommend you give it a try. Pricing is in line with other similar places, average entre is $20-$30.

Usually good but was kinda bad. Out of a lot of menu items. The fries were well overdone.Pot roast I'd usually fork tender that day not so much.

Service is abysmal. We were seated, given dinnerware and water. Completely ignored for an eternity. I went to the two hosts to ask if we could get a server before midnight. They stared at me like deer in headlights. More time passes and one of the hosts got someone. Hopefully they won’t mess up our order. Food is good, but if you like being ignored and treated like lepers, then this place is for you!ADDENDUM: The owner apologized and made amends that were appreciated.

We decided to give this place a try. It was nicely decorated and clean, staff seemed friendly enough, the night we went it was extremely crowded, I felt bad for the wait staff because they had people sitting at the tables by the bar and one group had alot of people standing around them that the wait staff had a hard time getting around and those people didn't seem to care that they were in the way. Nor did they make any effort to move out of the way. The drinks were good, very strong but still good. The cheese curds and soup were tasty, I didn't care too much for the brisket mac n cheese. The Flatbread was delicious. The atmosphere was lively. Very loud in there, so it was hard to hear your own conversation. Wasn't a big fan of having to share our table with another group of people, but it seemed that was the only way we were going to get a table. I'm not sure if this will be a place we continue to visit, but maybe another time when it's not so lively, we will give it another try.

The food was not as good as expected, the service was good considering the poor girl was stretched thin.

Service was very good. Food was good, nice size portions. Reasonable priced. Only issue is the noise level. Open ceilings so nothing buffering the sound. Seated at table for four, could not hear most of the conversations.

Franklins Public House has delicious salads and hot sandwiches. Their service is very good also. My husband loved the selection of beers in the bar. If there is a negative, it's the noise level, not conversation friendly.
