This place is shut down and google has it as open beware if you drive to this eye sore just to find out you have to leave. I was fortunate my Mom only stays a short distance but, can be very frustrating????

Bartenders move REALLY slow. The security was nice. The venue was nice. The drinks are a wonderful price. I went for my friend's engagement party. Over all it was ok. Dj was meh

I came here to throw my best friends 40th birthday and y'all know 40 is a BIG DEAL so this party had to be PERFECT. the sapphire room DID NOT disappoint. The DJ was great; he played current music as well as some of the classics. The bar was pretty crowded but the bartenders got through the crowd pretty quick and the drinks were delicious! They even made the birthday girl her own signature drink for all the guests. The owner went around and made sure everyone was satisfied and having a great time. He was really a great host and I will definitely be back for my own birthday party. Highly recommend the sapphire room.
BEST EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND. I had been looking for a venue for my wedding and when I heard the sapphire room was able to host a wedding I was ecstatic! The owner, Edward was so professional and truly helped me every step of the way. The staff even came in early to help my wedding planner set up decorations, greet my guests, and the signature cocktails were to die for. Drinks are well worth the price because after two drinks everyone was able to let loose and truly have a great time. The club itself is beautiful, staff was great, Edward made my dream wedding come true. I'm so grateful for everyone at the sapphire room and how they made my special day that much more stress free, fun, and one the best days of my life. Thank you Edward & everyone at the sapphire room!!!!

Where do I start. If you are interested in throwing a party here, you should think again. The owner, is very shiesty (aka greedy and inconsiderate). He will promise you everything to get you to book a party, but the night of your party (as your guests are arriving) then the tables will turn. There was only one bartender for a party of over 100 guests. If you have guests bring you gifts, the owner is checking the bags for alcohol and will confiscate your alcohol gifts and "lock them up in his office". He is overly concerned with outside alcohol, to the point that it will be his downfall. If your drinks are good and you have enough bartenders serving alcohol then you will make your money on alcohol. But when you water down your drinks and charge $10 for a drink that barely has any alcohol in it, then I guess that's why you would become overly concerned with outside alcohol. My last statement is, although the place is nicely decorated and spacious, the owner killed his own business not being a good businessman. When you treat people right, you will get referrals and return customers. When you are deceitful, shiesty, and inconsiderate, your business will fail, like it currently is. I will never refer anyone to this business or the other that he says he's trying to open in Calumet City.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. i met with the owner to discuss a serving job or a possible chef position. first of all, he made me give him good reviews on google and yelp before he said he would consider hiring me. then out of the blue, he asks me to come in and work security on a saturday night. mind you, this place has been shut down 3 times for gang activity. i worked all night til closing. he ends up paying me $7 an hour, less than half what the male security guards were making. plus the security guards were GROPING MULTIPLE women, not staying at the door, leaving me alone to do security for my first time. so when i text the owner the next day to coordinate a food tasting, he ignores me for days and finally texts back and says he's deciding against me and is blocking my number. THIS IS A TRUCK STOP AT BEST. the kitchen was in awful shape. there was no manager. this venue WILL CHARGE YOU A COVER EVEN IF YOU BOOK AN EVENT. will be taking my business elsewhere.

Ridiculous excuse for an establishment. No manager, horrible security, and the staff couldn't care less. Expensive watered down drinks. Burnt food worse than old McDonald's.. Had high expectations as there's isn't much in the area. Bad idea... wasted my time, money, and the group I came with left almost as soon as we got there. Don't recommend unless you want to waste your money in a corny ambiance
