Honestly wasn't very authentic. We only went once and maybe we caught them on a bad night, but the beef had clearly been frozen and became really chewy, the ingredient quality was middling, and there just generally wasn't much flavor. Everything was fine, not awful, but not great. The price seemed a bit steep for this quality, I could spend a similar amount for a much better experience at other hot pot places.

Half and Half Broth was pretty good. Angus Beef slices were good also. Some of the other items such as the Seafood balls were so-so. They also don’t give much for what you pay for, but that’s somewhat fair since it’s Park Ridge. I would put this at a 3-star, but the service was great!

We arrived at 5:30 pm on a Saturday. Two staff were leaning on the counter. They did not acknowledge us for about 10 minutes, even as they dropped bowls and utensils on our table.Cocktails were not available. Shrimp was not available. The Rolled Ice Cream was not available. The wine bottle we ordered was awful. The label was peeling off, the wine was corked and the metal wrapper left on.The food was not great and the service was awful. Our bill for 2 adults and 2 children was almost $200.By 6:30 almost all tables were full and two staff running around.Three others were sitting at a table chatting.

Service was extremely slow on a Wednesday night. We had waited for about 50 mins before we could start eating. The waitress didn’t give us the beef we ordered and claimed we didn’t order it and said she will show us. Turned out we did order it but she looked mad and didn’t apologize at all.The food was terrible and not authentic at all! Broth was bland. There were only four types of dipping sauces which were charged, came in extremely tiny portions, and tasted nothing authentic. The beef slices were super thick and frozen and they tasted old like rubber. We ordered enoki mushrooms but got a completely different type of mushrooms. And they don’t have lamb on their menu.I do not recommend this restaurant.

First time here. Went with a party of 4. Service was fine. Removing a star because they didn't tell us that there was a private party renting out the restaurant and so we were awkwardly stared at by the private party the whole time we were there so it was hard to enjoy our food and we couldn't hear each other. Menu is straight forward. You choose 2 meats and then however many veggies/sides you want. We ordered 1/2 regular broth and 1/2 spicy broth but realized after that the spicy broth is better and we should've just got a whole spicy broth. The regular broth is very bland. The portion and selection of the meats they give you is fair and sufficient. With drinks, we ended up paying paying ~$180. I wish they had a better sauce selection like at other hotpot places. In summary, there are probably better hot pot places for the price.

Awesome experience as always, if your into eating healthy and like noodles you’ll enjoy this place.

Not great but passable. The broth was very bland and the Mongolian dumplings were pretty generic and didn’t taste fresh at all. Just frozen prepackaged stuff. Ended up just leaving them. Got a side of peanut sauce and it ended up being too watery to eat. They charge per item rather than the usual set price per person you get at most Hot Pot places. Service was friendly but very slow, I think they may have been short staffed so it’s understandable.

We came in and we got seated and the male waiter knew we were new to this so he helped us order. After we ordered we did not get help because at one table was friends of the waiters and they were sitting and talking to them so we were confused on what to do and how long to cook certain things. Our waiter also came over dumped our food (the ones we haven’t cooked yet) in the broth and left out table. It felt as if we were being rushed to leave. We tried our best to cook the food until it was done. We ended up having food poisoning from what I think was from the shrimp. We honestly will never come here again.

Really nice atmosphere and good food. My only concern was the meat we ordered. It was not seasoned very well but other than that it was a fun experience.

The best hot pot ever! Highly recommend this place even after eating at Haidilao which is a top notch restaurant!

Absolutely awful. From the food to the service. Broths had zero flavor. The meats were gross the meatballs were frozen. Drinks took forever to get and I don't think even had booze. They cared more about cleaning the other tables than serving the tables they had. Definitely will never go back!

We had a wonderful evening. The owner greeted us, helped us with menu and cooking process. The food was fresh, the cooking soups were good, the custom table works perfect. This is a great way to eat a healthy meal and have fun doing it. We will be back.

First-timer here and I consider myself a hot pot newbie. Only hot pot spot I have been to is The X Pot. Didn't take many photos/videos here at Grand Hot Pot, but this place is great and absolutely a bang for your buck! Staff are friendly and helpful, making this experience non-intomidating. Ordered the Dumplings as an appetizer and they were super delicious and a nice size (comes in 8-pieces). Ordered Half & Half (Original and Spicy) for the House Soup Base. For Meat, we ordered the Combo Platter (slices of Beef, Chicken, Pork). Also ordered their Veggie Combo Platter (various veggies and worth it!), a side of White Rice, and their Peanut Sauce and Chili Sauce. Didn't have room for dessert but they have Rolled Ice Cream. Can't wait to come back again!

Very delicious. Even my hubby enjoyed their broth and he is hard to please about that. They do not skimp. We enjoyed the Bulgogi beef, shrimp ball and fish cake. The only thing they do not over is the dipping sauce that others offer for you to put together but we will definitely be back.
