Surprisingly great sushi! They were fast and friendly and the sushi was fresh and tasty! Will definitely be going back!

Stopped in on my way to the airport and while it wasn't the best sushi I've had, it was still very good. I had two rolls and thought one was excellent, but the other left me wanting a bit. I would definitely go back though. Service was excellent however.

Very pleasant surprise. Excellent sushi and service. Park Ridge really has set the bar high for food. Recommend.

My friend and I were visiting this place for the first time, and I wanted to order sashimi. The choice of sashimi was three - salmon, yellow fin, and some other cheap choice - but I cannot eat yellowfin tuna. I asked, presumably the owner, if he would substitute the reddish-pink tuna. He said, " No." I said,"Not even for a lower quality piece of fish, which I know costs less?" He wouldn't do it. If he was a good small business manager and more about the long term and good public relations, he would have benefitted financially, and I would have been a happy customer and returned. Literally three or four pieces of cheap fish, and he couldn't accommodate my allergy. And I guess they must be busy because they don't need me as a customer. SMH. Now the restaurant, unfortunately, gets a "blah" review. I didn't order anything and let my friend eat, but I snuck a piece of my friend's shrimp tempura roll with cream cheese. There was no "wow" factor in the flavor of this sushi roll, so not only did they make a poor business decision, the food was bland.

this is such a nice sushi place in park ridge. the prices are better than the other sushi places by it, and it is the home of my absolute favorite roll of all time; the latino roll. this menu item’s colorful presentation is only the beginning of what makes it so delightful. if you can take a little heat, it’s got spicy mayo and cilantro in it too for that extra kick. the salmon and avocado provide a nice refreshing quality to it as well. it’s so good, i’m often tempted to order two because one is just never enough lol thank you sushi express!

On my way to Indianapolis we found this place. Was difficult to get to from highway and having been on the road for a while they refused to let me use the restroom even after spending 35$ on lunch. They seem to not know that Covid is over. All chairs are stacked up and cashier is masked although chef has his around his neck. Guess I would give everyone Covid by using their restroom?? Definitely skip just for the lack of customer service. Lots of other choices.

No photos/videos unfortunately but will for sure snap some next time. Please note that this place is Take Out/Delivery only through call-in, Uber Eats, GrubHub, etc. Ordered Party Tray A which consisted of 6 rolls (2 California, 1 Spicy Tuna, 1 Spicy Crab, 1 Express, 1 Cucumber), which all of their orders are made-to-order. Their spicy rolls are actually spicy, not like some other spots, and bearable. Party Tray A is most definitely an excellent bang for your buck at $33 (including tax) and my husband and I split this tray for dinner and were not overly stuffed. No dine-in. They also sell bottled/canned drinks (non-alcoholic) and other snacks. Overall, great to see this spot survive the COVID-19 pandemic phase. Will definitely be coming back.

For a small sushi joint this place is doesn't disappoint. Sushi express is a small restaurant and has good sushi,, for the area. There is no eat in service right now, only take out. The tuna bomb roll is tasty If you're looking for spice. The gyoza are also one of my favorite items. I usually order enough for me and mister and that averages around $45, for 4 rolls and the gyoza, so pretty reasonable. There are typically 2 people working there and both are pleasant. Have returned a few times since finding this spot

Sushi is decent but had some smell giving longer cold storage indications. The taste is bland for some dishes.

I am not a big seafood/sushi eater at all, but recently have been craving a good veggie roll. I called to ask what was in the veggie rolls here and the man over the phone was super helpful and helped me pick out something I would like, and even added cream cheese to the rolls per my request. Pickup was super fast and easy and I think the price was fair, I could easily make 2 servings out of the 2 rolls I ordered. I have a lot of food aversions to smells and tastes and these rolls were extremely fresh and passed my test! Will definitely be back next time the craving strikes!
