“Really good monster size burgers, definitely not lacking in flavor. I ordered mine for pick up so I don’t have much to say about atmosphere or service but the pickup was quick. It was overcooked which was a bit disappointing but the flavor was great. I’ll stop by again the next time I’m in the area.”

“This place has been here forever, and there's a reason for that. It's got decent food and prices. It's hard not to stop in for a bite to eat when back in the area. That leaves other places unexplored, but it's like going to a restaurant and always getting your favorite dish and not trying other things.The Double Breaded CheeseBurger is the cult classic here. You just can't find them anywhere else. I like the liver and onions, and the fried chicken is wonderful. I'm not a fan of coated fries, but everything else I've had here over the years has been wonderful. I wish there were more places like Ziggie's.”

“This is a must try when near Shabbona. The pizza was delicious with savory sauce, abundant cheese and a perfect pizza crust. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. I recommend this as a carry out restaurant. Shabbona is a very close knit small town.”

“My wife and I went to Rosati's three times last week when we visited Mendota from California, so that should indicate something about what we think of this restaurant and bar. We love the atmosphere in this one-time police building and municipal jail. The food is very good. The menu prices are quite reasonable. And the staff is friendly. However, we did not appreciate the "convenience fee" that the establishment adds to its meal and bar checks. Makes the customer feel cheated, sadly. Otherwise: five stars.”

“Was driving through the area looking for a nice comfortable spot to have a drink and commune with my thoughts. What caught my eye was the male and female arguing in the street. I assumed it was some type of cheap extra marital affair argument but turns out they were discussing their dining options for the evening. The bar had a very nice selection of cold drinks. The bartender Melissa was very nice. Well dressed, but slightly irritated at my frequent drink order. The bathrooms though small were actually quite pleasant. They had a natural human odor that reminded me of the pee trough at Wrigley Field. I wished the snack area had more menu options, but I found the jerky and corn chips very filling. In closing I give this establishment a thumbs up, and recommend it for your next Family Reunion, Wedding Reception or Child's Bar Mitzva!”
