Headed to Michigan and stopped in Paxton to find some food. Found this little gem and thought we would try it. Haven’t had Mexican food in a little while. Tony greeted us and was very grand informative. Got chips and medium salsa ( which we love ). The chips and salsa here are awesome. Got a chicken quesadilla with beans and two flour tacos with the works. Absolutely loved the tacos!!!! Authentic food for sure. Thank you Tony for your hospitality and to your mom who does an amazing job of cooking. Will keep this place in mind next time we are driving through.

This is by Far the worst Mexican restaurant ever!!!... we order fountain drinks and they were Flat, then they replaced our drinks with bottle sodas and they were EXPIRED since 2022, what's wrong with this people!!!... when the food arrived it was Awful As Well!... Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Neat little place. I had the steak torta sandwich which was good, it was something a bit different from normal Mexican fare., but I felt like it was missing something. Margarita was just ok.

Stayed in Paxton for one night and tried this place to take back to the hotel. First the place was very nice and clean. Second, the staff was wonderful! Very kind, friendly, and appreciated the business. Third, the food was very good and authentic, a welcome change from highway fast food.

Server was great. Lots of inspiring stories to tell. I like learning about people I met when I'm traveling. I live it West, so I am spoiled in excellent Mexican quisine. While this was very tasty, and the family that runs out is authentic, I think they have had to adjust to the tested buds of eastern Illinois diners. The quisine was fabulous.
