“We chose Sunset Hills Eatery to have a send off gathering for our son who is headed to basic training and tech school for US Air National Guard. Every part of this event went so smoothly from planning the food choices, the quality of the food and incredible waitress and bar service. We were made to feel very special and our son had a wonderful evening. We were even gifted a beautiful light up wooden Ametican Flag from the owners and staff to keep lit while our son is away. Truly heartwarming and appreciated. Thank you Corey, Andrea ,Sara and staff . We will never forget this evening???“

They have a pretty good selection of craft beers and have the trusted domestic light available… I came in for Bloody Mary’s today, I’ve struggled to find a good one in Peoria but Ashton’s are reliably excellent“
“Went to Mike's Tavern in West Peoria IL for lunch today. This is a small hole in the wall bar and grill. You first think of a two and a half garage that someone turned into a bar. You would be close . The owner is happy to tell you the history of the place. I had their Tenderloin. Crispy crust, toasted and buttered bun. On the thin side of tenderloins but still thicker then most. Just comes with chopped onions and at least a dozen pickles. No lettuce or tomatoes. Husband had the Double Cheeseburger. Once again only chopped onions and pickles. We shared an order of Truffel Oil Fries. Hot and crispy. They were hard to stop eating! Normally these are Parmesan Truffle Oil Fries but they were out of Parmesan. Definitely worth a stop in for lunch. Kitchen isn't open on Monday or Tuesday. Small menu but food is GOOD EATS!“
“I absolutely love this place I have never been here and lived here most my life !!! The taco supreme pizza is the best taco pizza I have ever had !!!! The tvs at the booths for kids or even parents are AWESOME ADD!!!! Service was great !!!!! Can’t wait to come back with kids ! “Perhaps the best place in the area to get a burger but they have soooo much more than burgers. Pizza, salads, wraps, Giant baked potatoes, great sides and tons of Beers, whiskies, ciders and cocktails. Great staff, friendly atmosphere, good prices, all around fantastic. Definitely recommend.“
