“The coffee is incredible. They roast their own and offer flavors unlike any others I've seen in the area. They usually have vegan-friendly pastries and whatever milk will suit your fancy for a drink. The main sitting area is very chic and cozy. There are spots outside as well as a little nook inside if you need a quieter area to sit. As for the service, i absolutely love these people. They're so friendly and welcoming, and don't just flat out ignore you if you aren't ordering like some cafes do. It's in a beautiful historic building that always gives me inspiration whenever i go there to get work done.“

The onions potatoes? and green pepper were well seasoned and the cheese? was American melted ?? side of a short stack?. My manfriend had a bacon ?and cheese? omelet. He loved the bacon? was whole folded with the cheese? into the omelet, crispy enough to easily cut into but not too dry. Hot sauce? on the eggs? and a half order of biscuits and gravy, which was better than I make. That breakfast anywhere else would have been $35- $45 but this place was an amazing value ? Staff is funny and friendly. Regulars make the atmosphere great!“

“My wife was looking for a tea room in the Peoria area. In her search, the Emerald Tea Room came up. It was conveniently located in East Peoria near a few antique shops. It is open from 11 am to 2 pm Tuesday through Saturday. All of the food is made in house. The soups were excellent, great sandwiches, bread and desserts. It is family owned. The service was delightful.“

“Review Visit: May 7th, 2018The definition of ‘cultured’ is defined by the dictionary as: enlightened; refined. Is Cultured Grounds a cultured place? Yes, for the odd location.Cultured Grounds has taken over for where Novitasso Coffee was. Sadly, I never got to go there so there; so I made sure to visit Cultured Grounds to avoid that mistake. The coffeehouse is located on the main floor of Twin Towers Place in Peoria. The location is a rather odd place, as I am not familiar with the buildings and never would’ve guessed there were businesses located there.Cultured Grounds is located on the ground level, in the middle of the main area surrounded by a green fence. The coffeehouse itself is lit by a giant skylight that provides ample lighting. The layout and decor are really nice. They have these big brown couches that were super comfortable. The cashier must’ve known I was cozy as she brought my drink to me. I give props to whoever decorated the coffeehouse as it was well put together.I ordered an iced caramel latte and it was pretty yummy. It was a decent blend of caramel and espresso but the espresso was a bit overwhelming for my tastes. Not bad by any means, though! They offer packaged and homemade snacks to compliment your drink. I snagged some milano cookies and those went perfect with my drink.It’s a good thing I don’t live in the towers. I would spend all my free time lounging on the couches, sipping coffee and eating milano cookies.Check it out… if you are cultured enough.“

“Found this little restaurant online while on a work trip in Peoria, IL. They have amazing catfish, the breading is great and their sides are amazing. Had Mac N Cheese and Green Beans that were amazing. Highly recommend, staff was super friendly and prices were good. Amazing food and service, highly recommend visitng.“

“Being in the area, I decided to stop at Starbucks again: it's a very nice coffee shop, offering all kinds of various hot and cold drinks, and food. Since the weather's been pretty hot, I ordered Grande Strawberry Acai Lemonade, that was made fast, plus I got two pastries, packed to go. The subtotal was $6.95 plus two taxes of 1% and 11% on the packaged food and drink respectively, so the total came to $7.51. The service was very hospitable, cheerful and friendly. The shop now advertises and offers various season specials -- coffees, hot and cold drinks, merchandise, as well as season discounts. Getting ready for Halloween brightens up the ambiance, largely created by info boards in orange colors, as well as all kinds of fall flowers and pumpkins around the coffee shop.
