Just found out Churches Chicken is hopefully only temporarily closed. I can't seem to find out why. Please assist. I love the food!! It is the only place around with reasonably priced food, that still tastes good.

Definitely not going back! The lady was very rude and disrespectful!You want good service don’t go here! I was nice to her and didn’t deserve that treatment! She even told me to leave for no reason even after I asked about ordering a drink!

1st off take some of the other reviews with a grain of salt. They are Chick Fil A customer base. Not churches if you get what I'm saying. Most churches chicken in other places are really good. Not so much here. It can be hit or miss at times. My biggest complaint is how ran down the place is. This location could make more money by making it more appealing looking. I know it a urban restaurant but come on. The chicken is usually good but if you're a person who's uncomfortable coming to the south end and all the "undesirables" there keep going to Chik Fa A.

Amazing customer service quick food but the owner should be in jail making those employees work in this heat with no air conditioning!!! It’s 97 outside and hotter in the building whoever owns this location should be fined and shut down until better working conditions!

We visited this location while we were in Peoria, Illinois visiting relatives and learned that they were out of white meat?Which was cool with me as I love thighs. Returned there later that same evening because my brother in law wanted me to bring him something back to Champaign and found out that they were out of chicken completely. While speaking to other local customers we learned that it’s like that here every Tuesday evening allegedly because they have their Tuesday special and no employees want to cook. We love Churches Chicken but not this particular location.

I have mixed feelings about this location. Seems like they the only chicken joint that closes at 8pm but the other Churches I’ve been to close at 10pm. Even says on google they close at 10pm. So I guess it depends on how they feel, if they lazy and tired make it in at 5pm to catch the good end. Can’t say its because the area because it’s ones in the bad sides of Chicago open way later. Have to wait until they done with gossip to have your order taken. Nobody knows who what where except when they off work and how many pieces they taking home. 3 stars because when they are open and not many ppl there, a quick cheap meal

Is this place ever open? The opening time says 1030 on the Google search. So I stopped by and closed but people talking outside smoking. Then I returned at 11 am STILL CLOSED. I guess they don't need any paying customers. Well I will not ever return. It's sad because it was a good place at one time
We don't have one in our area so this was an Oasis in the middle of a desert. Everything was on point!!! Thank you for a GREAT Experience.

Love their honey butter biscuits! Now they made them even better by adding icing to them also. I have only had a problem with an order here 1x out of many. And that time the store has quite a few people waiting for their orders so i ended up with someone else's order( unfortunately im not a big fan of dark meat chicken on the bone even) The staff is always so polite and quick to get my food done.

The condition of the foundation might not be in tip top shape but the employees do their best to keep business here and I'm so happy considering I looove that Church's chicken. I'm even more grateful because I live an hour and 1/2 away and anytime I'm in town I'm so happy they're open and all the more satisfied with the food.
