To start the food was made very well. I personally just don't eat onions. And the dishes are made with ALOT of onions . I don't eat sea food often so I didn't even think to ask about onions. Very disappointed I'm not going to be enjoying the food. Smells

I visited the Fish House for the first time this past week and I had a very good dining experience there. I recommend this restaurant for its quality of food, prompt but un-rushed service, and well appointed bar.I chose to sit in the bar area and was served by a professional bartender who had obvious mastery of cocktails and different types of spirits. I ordered a Seared Tuna Appetizer and Lobster Bisque for my meal. Both were outstanding. The tuna was prepared perfectly and its presentation was enjoyable. This was also served with some freshly made rolls that I could not deny. Normally, I limit my bread intake but I these were so good that I fully consumed two or three and enjoyed every bite!Other patrons in the bar area were polite and friendly. In short, all aspects of this dining experience were positive. I will return here and I recommend it to others.

I grew up in Peoria, but this was my first time eating at Fish House. Decor is dated and dark. Our server was friendly and perfect amount of attention. Food portions slightly small but very delicious. Highly recommend their wild caught salmon if available. Advanced reservation for dinner is basically essential.

Great restaurants are few and far between in the midwest. If you're craving seafood in Peoria this is your best choice. Consistently good for years now. A little pricey.
Yes it is expensive but one of the best meals! You need a reservation. We had the raw oyster which was outstanding. Hubby had grilled Halibut which he said was better than when we were in Alaska. I had the Sweet Chili Thai Sea Bass which was out of my comfort zone but will definitely order again. We ended with a shared dessert. With 3 drinks the bill was $165 without a tip. The waitress was awesome and we left a 25% tip.
I was in the mood for some seafood. Fish house had the best menu options. I had the fried oysters and Neptune player boiled. Food was good hot and decent. The service was good and waiter attentive. I would recommend for seafood.

I attempted to order take out for my mother today right at 4pm. She has been in the hospital since February 2nd, has been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer and coded yesterday. She hasn’t been eating very much but today she said she’d eat lobster if I got it for her. I called right at 4pm to order but was told they weren’t taking orders for takeout because of it being Valentine’s Day. I even explained the situation about my mother and that it would only be an order for her (1 person) but was still told no. The lack of empathy and poor customer service from the person who I spoke with on the phone has definitely turned me off from this restaurant and I will never spend a dime at this establishment again.
