Pharmacist is horrible! Not professional at all. Felt like I was dealing with a kid and not at all a professional. Instead of helping me, all he could do is give me excuses why he couldn’t including: not enough staff, have too many customers waiting, not enough resources, too many vaccines to give now. I’ve never had such horrible service ever!

Bakery: Cakes are wonderful and delicious, however 2 years in a row I have made my order for my sons birthday cake paid in advance and both years get there and the cake is not there. Every year my kids get to design their own cake and to not have it at their party is heart breaking. They did give us a full refund and free cake that was already made..but not my babies special made cake that was paid for in advance. So disappointed in this because the cakes are delicious.

They do all of the basic blocking and tackling well. The store is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the shelves are stocked. Their prices can be a bit steep, but it's not so bad if you stay on top of their specials and digital coupons.

We waited over 15 min. (No lie!) In the self checkout to receive an over ride to process our order only to have it happen 4 more times. While the experience is way too long to explain, I will say that they have 12 self checkouts and no one watching the area to help customers. (That would be 12 registers with 12 employees if it wasn't self checkout, the least they could do is have ONE employee overseeing that area!)We just moved to Peoria and we were sorely disappointed with their service and won't be going back.This was the Hy-Vee off of Sheridan.

Im disabled vet and have bad ptsd. I lost my phone here a few days ago and I was frantic. Every store member I spoke with when looking for my phone was more than helpful and the two ladies that gave me my phone after it was found made my day. I can't say enough how thankful I am. Thank you so much you guys made me feel like family. Thank you!

This is an interesting way of quick dining in modern times, and in a place like Hy-Vee: it gives various options to order a meal -- from a menu, seating in the restaurant (Dining & Bar), from a buffet stand with the dishes from various types of cuisines, from delicatessen section, with all kinds of healthy options, rotisserie, etc. No matter, how you order, you are given choices: you can dine in the restaurant area, or you can take the meal out. In October, I happened to be in this Hy-Vee restaurant twice. The first time, I was seated in the spacious dining area, but I only had a mug of free hot coffee and a free dessert (both were very good!), since that day the kitchen couldn't serve me the entree from the menu, it was just after 2 pm, and it was the first day, they planned to be open for dinner. Things were a bit hectic, I gathered. The bartender couldn't be nicer, and was very apologetic and polite, and I gave him a generous tip for his service. The second time I came at a lunch hour, and opted for a take out of Pepperoni pizza slice, plus some salads to go (Beet Salad and Coleslaw). The service at the Pizza Bar is well-trained, polite, attentive, helpful and fast. I have to say, that Pepperoni pizza -- a very large slice -- turned out to be excellent: the dough was very tasty, and the ingredients were fresh. The slice of pizza costs $1.99 -- besides the quality, you can't find a better price option anywhere else nowadays! Beet Salad was also very good, Coleslaw was overpowered by vinegar. There are multiple offers of combo meals, specials, promotions, etc. The restaurant is in full compliance with the current sanitation regulations, tables are distanced, all the staff I saw, were wearing masks, there were hand sanitizers available, as well. The pleasant, informal ambiance in the restaurant is enhanced by the Halloween decorations these days, which make the place very cheerful and festive. I think, that this type of quick dining can be very convenient in modern times -- it offers variety of order options, large selection of dishes, fast service, affordable prices. I plan to be back -- and try various dishes: they have a lot to offer!

Be very careful and check expiration dates! They are notorious for leaving expired products on the shelves. More often than not I have products I have wanted to have expired dates on them. Sometimes I can dig back to find fresher dates, or the entire stock is expired. I have brought this to the attention of management but doesn't look any better.

We like to grocery shop here but the prices are high on many items. We also usually like the Chinese food as well. The Chinese food is very hit and miss. Tonight we only ordered chicken egg rolls. The entrees and side items tonight looked very old and unappetizing.
Very friendly staff always willing to help. The little restaurant is amazing and great food even better service.

Stopped in for breakfast after Planet Fitness on Sheridan workout because it was close. Did not know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised! The breakfast was expertly prepared, delicious and affordable. Will definitely go back!

I love Hy-Vee just because they are so clean and have an amazing presentation. The only thing I really go for is the Starbucks and items I can't find at my regular store. Otherwise it's way too expensive.

I have been in Hy-Vee countless times and every time someone is ready to help me find something if needed and check through the counter with a smile. I had one bad experience the other day and I wrote a negative review that is not justifiable when all other visits we’re extremely positive. Please accept my sincere apology and remove my post because it does not reflect my true feelings about Hy-Vee and the wonderful people that work there. Very sorry
