My family and I went here yesterday for the first time and I can’t say that we’ll return. I wanted the tacos Al pastor, however it wasn’t pork, it was chicken. I changed my mind to the tacos de carne asada, but received flank steak and tortillas on the side. The steak was very dry and not seasoned, hard to chew. I gave half of it to my husband. The salsa was ok, I didn’t really care for the cumin the added to it. The queso and guacamole were good. Overall the place was “Ok”, the refried beans were ok…a reddish color, not the brown color.
Best Mexican food we’ve had in Peoria in a long time! Chicken tacos, fajitas and quesadillas were outstanding and the incredible service we received from our waiter Jose will bring us back! Well done Jalapeños!
