Food came very fast but that could be because it was sitting out and the reason I would say that is because my breadstick was hard enough to break a tooth lol…I ordered the shrimp Alfredo and it had more water in it than niagra falls and it tasted very basic. The cabbage tasted like an angry person cooked it tasted very basic worse Jamaican cabbage I ever had and I usually love Jamaican cabbage but….them yams was amazing they are definitely worth trying not tryna be mean with my review just trying to help out…

First let me say i love Caribbean food! I’m from Atlanta and i had been looking for Caribbean food in the area when i came across this spot! I was so excited that i ordered the chicken curry w/ yams and cabbage and a side of jerk chicken. The jerk chicken and yams were ok and i will order it again. However, I was disappointed with the chicken curry and cabbage:( the chicken curry had the curry seasoning but seemed to be missing other seasonings and it tasted bland. Its other things on the menu that I’m excited to try and will give a review.

This business is closed. Drove by last night and today for lunch, during the posted times of operation. Both times the business was closed and it seemed it was closed for good, with no notice saying otherwise.

The staff was polite, place was nice so I was excited to get curry goat as I haven't had it in months. Drove an hour home and opened container to see what looks like vertebrae with no meat on them. Went through whole container and got one small bite of meat. Disappointed.

I ordered the Jerk Chicken with red beans and rice, mac and cheese, and candied yams. The food was excellent. Also, the vibe at Jerk Hut was great. People who knew eachother were talking and laughing. Even the customers talked to other customers. I liked the community vibe.

I ordered the jerk salmon alfredo. I wasn't pleased with the alfredo sauce. I had to season the sauce when I got home. It was bland and more liquid like; it looked like milk. Alfredo sauce should be thicker than served here. The jerk seasoning was barely there on the salmon. My advice don't be afraid to season the food. Me in my kitchen I don't measure I just shake and stop when the ancestors say that's enough? I don't use salt with iodine. I use Himalayan pink salt and lots of herbs. A suggestion use both Romano and parmesean cheese to make the alfredo allow it to thicken on low heat.I also got a side of yams. They looked like canned yams. The yams were lightly seasoned as well. Not real sweet. Yams can be sweetened without going overboard with the sugar. Raw cane sugar is a great sweetener without the added chemicals that white sugar has. I believe if you all just adjusted the seasonings in your food then your star rating can improve and your foot traffic may improve inside the restaurant.

I have eaten Jerk Hut several times. I'm still looking for the great taste I had the very first time I ordered it. So delicious. However every time since things have not been the same. The greens and bed of rice are so different for the bad. The rice taste like soap. Too much of something. The greens tast like can greens. I've tried to stick with yall, but I must move on. Wish yall the best, as I do my best to support local owned businesses!

I’ll give it a 2 star because they do have great service. I had jerk chicken, mac and cheese, red bean and rice with yams. The yams was decent, the chicken didn’t have any flavor especially to be jerk, the mac and cheese was horrible. The red beans and rice was dry and nasty. It was a waste of money to be honest. Did I mention they had good service though, but that’s all I can say?!

The food was still good but it wasn't great like I felt when you first opened. The Mac n cheese didn't taste the same and I wasn't impressed. I ordered greens but got cabbage instead . I'm pretty sure there using the red beans and rice for the base of the coconut shrimp and I don't remember that from the last time. Seemed different. I don’t know what happened. Loved this place in the beginning. It's still a lot better then other options but I just can't say I loved it or would be eager to go back this time. Darnt.

What I got was delicious... it just wasn't what I ordered. Walked in and the place was dead. Waited a bit for the online order I put in. Snagged, it got home, opened it up to see a completely different order than the receipt showed. Chicken instead of ribs, mac and cheese instead of fries... Not the best first impression, but I was hungry and didn't feel like calling in, driving back, and waiting for it to be cooked again. It was delicious and had an awesome kick, but given how dead it was inside, I feel like the kitchen basically just decided, "Nah, he wants this..."

The restaurant and staff were very nice but the food was really bad (so sorry J*** Hut). Got j*** chicken, greens, yams. Everything had the overwhelming flavor of cloves. It overpowered everything and we ended up throwing most of it out. The flavor stayed in our mouths for the whole night. My daughter said her spicy Mac & cheese side was good though. All three of us couldn't keep eating. We were really disappointed because we were excited to try it & love Caribbean food as I was born & raised there. Couldn't taste any j*** spice except cloves, so unpleasant. Can't stress how incredibly strong it was. If you love clove flavor, then absolutely try it, just not for us. Also wish they had plantain but I imagine that's difficult to get around here.

The food was definitely not good at all. I bought the j*** chicken. Both the chicken and the rice was dry. Chicken didn't even taste j*** and was brunt. The rice seemed like it had been there for two days. The Mac and Cheese or cabbage was not good at all. I would not recommend this, especially if you have any idea what Jamaican food tastes like.

My fiance surprised me with J*** Hut to celebrate my completion of physical therapy. This was my first time trying Caribbean food. It will not be the last. The ribs were amazing. The meat all but melted in your mouth. The cabbage was instantly addicting. The red beans and rice was astounding. She had me try a bit of her jerked chicken and without a doubt some of the best chicken I have eaten. I can not wait to order from them again. Don't care how you get there. But if you haven't been to the J*** Hut. Walk l, Run, take a cab take the buss, ride a horse, do what ever it takes to get there.
