We had a wonderful experience at the Altar table for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The food was great, even for the picky eaters in our family. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere perfect for our little celebration.Vegetarian options: We have 2 vegetarians in the family and both were pleased with the options! One got a veggie burger and the other got a veggie burger patty as a Horseshoe.

It was quiet and we loved it...it was my second time there...I celebrated my 60th birthday there last year on a weekend night...which was much busier and lively...both trips are memorable...and being a member of OES I enjoyed the bathroom too! What a great monument they have saved! Really I'm at a loss for words...worth every penny!

Such a neat place - Loved that this beautiful building has been re-purposed in such a perfect way. Enjoyed reading the history and the front of the menu too.Beer was really good and service too. Ordered the Jager Schnitzel, and it wasn't bad, but not very authentic, The pork was nice and crispy , but breaded with panko which I normally don't see on this dish - also the Jager sauce tasted more like a country white gravy with mushrooms. Came on a bed of mashed potatoes with spaetzle on the side. It just seemed like a very "beige" plate that could have been livened up with a vegetable or a little mustard in the Jager sauce.The menu looked good overall though and the atmosphere MORE than made up for the shortcoming from the meal. I would definitely return to try other items from the menu and sample more beers in this super cool venue.

I’ll start off by saying the food was amazing! But the service was TERRIBLE. The hosts were so rude to all of our party and snippy with us. When we got to our table our server was so rude from the beginning annoyed for us wanting separate checks and a glass of ice. Never checked on us, never gave us refills and over all just uncomfortable to be around. As a first time customer I will never return
The hostess was rude. You check in online and no reminded people they still needed to check in. The waitress was extremely rude. We never got more drinks, she didn’t check on us and she rolled her eyes when we asked for a glass of ice. The food and atmosphere is amazing. Serves needs work all the way around. The chef was the only friendly staff we encountered.

I had booked a private banquet room for a birthday celebration. Tammy, the event manager, was very helpful and accommodating for our group. The food was delicious, and Niyana was our waitress. She was so good with our group, and took care of everyone from our toddlers to the adults. The atmosphere is wonderful, and Tammy took time to check in on us and speak with various members of our party. I would definitely book my next event here.
