Tender and juicy with good char.They are lacking the condiments, such as tomatoes, pickles, etc.But for purists, you can't go wrong with these sandwiches. The only knock is it's quite pricey.Good burgers are available at The Lariat and Alexander's for less.Now, Richards will be opening two more locations downtown Peoria, the original, and a smaller menu store close to the original on Main.Don't know if the location on University will be able to stay open.

I love hot wings with all my heart so I know this review had to be made. Even though I chose BBQ this time I just want to say upon opening up my togo box that it was no mistake. You know how certain restaurants wings look slimy and undercooked? Not Richards… they literally have this method where they smoke the wings first and then throw in the grease after for a short amount of time to give the chicken a crisp effect. On the top of that the fries are seasoned!!!! Omg I even think they make a homemade ranch. So if you happen to be in that neck of the woods and craving some wings then, I would highly suggest stopping in! Oh yea sn I went on a Wednesday, they have a special where you get a pound of wings and fries only for $10. I’d say thats a steal.

Walked in was greeted right away by the server, who got our drinks right away and told us about the menu. She was very attentive. We kept it simple and got some old downtown Richards staples. Chicken tenders (frozen pre-made tenders, but ok)and cheese fries, Ribeye sandwich (cooked well and had good flavor) and cheese fries both were great and for a fair price, served hot, and fast. Atmosphere is more dive bar feeling, but ok.

No one knew the special or how to make it. Was nothing like what it was supposed to be. And really expensive for what you got.

We went here to celebrate our anniversary. We were so excited because on Main it was our favorite place to go. We both got clubs, fries and cheese. We split an order of mozzarella sticks as well. All was fantastic! The cheese seems a bit spicier than I remembered but it was still good! The guy who waited/cooked our food was very friendly and welcoming. So happy to have Richard's back!

Sheer disappointment! Absolutely nothing like Richard's. The cheese sauce is NOT the same. None of the food is the same. It's like a very small cafeteria. You order at the counter from a very limited paper menu, cheap plastic ware, plastic baskets for the food and styrofoam cups. The tenderloin was tough and had no flavor. No bar or any atmosphere to speak of. Should not be allowed to have the Richard's name!!!
