Amazing dinner experience. The drinks and food were some of the best we have had in recent memory. Service was attentive, the atmosphere was perfect. It was relaxed but the food and drinks were high-end and well worth the price. I've never had beef heart before - but I truly enjoyed it on the udon dish. The pork sliders were like an elevated banh mi, and the pork belly melted in your mouth. They utilize a lot of local farms for their products and it truly comes through in the flavor of the dishes - there is a depth of flavor you won't get from a big food supplier. Beautiful space, delicious food and drink. If you are looking for an elevated experience this is it.

A group of us were out celebrating and chose to start our night at The Bar at BLACK BAND. Everyone agreed it was such a great choice. Between the 8 of us we ordered a majority of the menu and shared amongst the table. Every dish was not only aesthetically pleasing, but full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The drinks were phenomenal and challenged me to try new things. My personal favorites of the evening were the Fire Flower, Brussels Sprouts, Swordfish and the Blondie dessert. We all agreed it's been a long time since we've been out at a restaurant and enjoyed every dish. Highly recommend!!

I love bourbon. The bourbon here is pretty good. Drinks are good. The service is good but they left us sitting a long time without any information.Unfortunately, the kitchen was a mess. Took 45 + minutes for our food to be served. The burger was dry as all get out. Someone from the kitchen came out to apologize saying the chef had to leave and it backed up the kitchen. I can sympathize but it was a birthday dinner and kind of ruined the experience. They comped a couple of desserts which were good. I’d go back to the bar for a drink but dinner was just a bad overall experience and i’ll avoid the dining room going forward.

Love that they keep updating the menu. Went in over the weekend for my fiance's birthday and the food and service was amazing. The chevre dumlings melt in your mouth and the wings definitley hit the spot.

Blackband is my absolute favorite place to go in Peoria. The Chevre Dumplings are to die for! They are smothered in a rich creamy sauce, that almost seems to dissolve in your mouth. I also had the Brussel Sprouts, which were perfectly seasoned and had a slight crispiness. I'm not sure what the name of the deviled eggs were, but I think it had a slice of sashimi on it? I would not have expected that combination to be so good! We will definitely be back to explore more unique meals. If you are a person who likes to explore the world one plate at a time, start at Blackband. You won't be disappointed!

I tried the pork belly burger and I'm wishing I had ordered another one to take home. if you're debating between Black Band and somewhere else for dinner, pick Black Band. You won't be disappointed

Great atmosphere. Food was unbearable. Would not return. Pork belly ewe! I knew when I asked there would be no ketchup for the burger. Ketchup not cool? Very expensive. Classy but you gotta have something more. Got mustard in the wing sauce. Who puts mustard on wings? Need I go on?

We've been here twice and had an amazing experience both times! The staff is excellent, friendly and has great knowledge of the products that they serve. The menu is wonderful, it makes me want to order one of everything! My personal favorite is the chevre dumplings. Wonderful place for a date night or friends night out!
