“Simple and old school! Burgers are 75 CENTS. That's right you read that correctly. 75 CENTS! And they are good! Chicken noodle soup is Campbell's type but it's hot and fine. The place is paneled and has absolutely seen better days. Like in the 50's but it's a fun place for a bite to eat. And did I mention the burgers are 75 CENTS? There is no sign to let you know this place is here, it's just a place all the locals know about.“
“Wedding reception, they catered. The dinger doods were delicious (catfish, bluegill, chicken strips and fries). Bar is well stocked, nice atmosphere, video gaming if desired, shuffle board and darts too. Great parking in rear of establishment.“
“We went early on Saint Patrick's Day. We had the corned beef and cabbage special. It was very good. All the meals that the people around us had looked good. The only complaint I have is a pet peeve of mine. I asked for separate checks, and instead of putting what people ate on their own check. They just added up the total check and divided by three. That means I paid for a third of other people's drinks, etc. Like I said, it's a pet peeve, so most people wouldn't care. In addition, there is a fee to use a credit card...also a pet peeve. If I'm in the area and hungry, I would go again, but this is over an hour drive from my house.“
“What a pleasant surprise. Tucked in Water Street along the river. We stopped in for a late lunch and started off with the breaded cauliflower. It was exceptional and did not need any dipping sauce. The cook knows how to cook. My wife had the chicken parm sandwich. Grilled. It was a huge piece of chicken and she said she is going to eat it all because it was so good. I had the cod nuggets, french fries, and coleslaw. The cod was really good. Large chunks and the breading was perfect. Light and not heavy. Coleslaw was homemade and was also very, very good. Service was excellent. No waiting on refills. Our waitress had a great personality. The inside was very welcoming. Lots of television everywhere. Nice music playing in the background. We will definitely come back again. Top notch. Separate bar and dining room.“
“Excellent atmosphere, from the moment I opened the door and entered the place I could see that it is a very special place because it fuses the concept of an American Bar, with touches of a Mexican Cantina, then when I saw the menu, I could realize that it really has a lot of influence of a typical Mexican Cantina, that makes it a beautiful and excellent place. Good variety of Mezcales, the sale of Cantaritos is a pleasant surprise.“
