It was fine. Not exceptional but I enjoyed it. Our group played their slot machines and got a 700% return so that was awesome.

They have good meat suace but I guess that's about it. I've been there a handful of times now and the meat is always overcooked. I went last night and for the driest, toughest chicken sandwhich I have ever had in my life. But rhe breading wasn't overcooked so I'm not really sure what that's about.

What a pleasant surprise. Tucked in Water Street along the river. We stopped in for a late lunch and started off with the breaded cauliflower. It was exceptional and did not need any dipping sauce. The cook knows how to cook. My wife had the chicken parm sandwich. Grilled. It was a huge piece of chicken and she said she is going to eat it all because it was so good. I had the cod nuggets, french fries, and coleslaw. The cod was really good. Large chunks and the breading was perfect. Light and not heavy. Coleslaw was homemade and was also very, very good. Service was excellent. No waiting on refills. Our waitress had a great personality. The inside was very welcoming. Lots of television everywhere. Nice music playing in the background. We will definitely come back again. Top notch. Separate bar and dining room.

Every time I have been here the bartenders have been rude. I never feel welcomed. The food was decent. But feeling like I’m bothering the bartenders makes me never want to come

This is one of my favorite stops when in IL River Valley. Always stop in for a fish bowl & dinner... never disappointed. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, live music & fabulous patio during season.Parking: Plenty of street parking along the river front

Very clean and rustic establishment. Staff was friendly and there was little wait for service. Environment was very inviting to both the younger and older crowd.

The chicken wings were really tasty! Would definitely recommend them! Service was good. Had a one man band performer when we arrived, and he was decent.

We stopped in for dinner tonight, lots of places closed out this way on Mondays. I had the weekly special, an open faced beef sandwich on toast with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was delicious, a perfect meal for a cold Fall evening. My wife had the grilled Buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. The bartender was very nice and was attentive. We will be back again.....

A group of my friends and I went in one night after we had dinner down the road. We got carded when we all ordered drinks, and the bar tender under her breath said "FAKE" this one is "FAKE", i'm not serving the two on the end. Then checked another person in our group and said it was fake. We all are 23 and 24 years old lol. I have been served there multiple times before and had no issues. It was ridiculous and she made all of us feel stupid like we were trying to get away with something ?? We won't be coming back here anytime soon, we did still get served, but we had to put up a fight about it?? The bartender then told me to calm down and that I was still going to get served. I proceeded to say, my ID is not fake so not too sure why you would say that. It is important to make sure your workers can actually tell the difference between a REAL and a FAKE ID. Just because you work at another bar that has fake ID's being used "all the time" doesn't mean everywhere you go there are gonna be fakes that are trying to be used?? Very poor service. I would not recommend.

Came here on a Saturday night. It was pretty busy but still had tables available. Parking is a little difficult as there isn't enough street parking. The service was friendly and efficient. They immediately fixed a problem with the meal. There was live music that was pretty loud. The food is just okay to me. I had the grilled southwest chicken salad. The salad was fresh but the chicken was a little chewy. My family also tried the meatloaf and thought it was very good. I tried the garlic Parmesan fries and thought they were fresh and hot but didn't love them. The prices for the drinks and food were very reasonable.

Well I had higher hopes of this placed based on other reviews. We did love the fried pickles and onion rings, they were great. I had the walleye which was as pretty good. My wife had the fried chicken but it was literally an hour and a half before we got our main dish. Appetizers came out quick which was great and I anticipated the same sort of thing for our main but it took forever. I understand fried chicken takes a long time but this was kinda silly how long we waited.Cool atmosphere sitting in the patio area, across from the river with a live band playing. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, just honest ones. We may come back, maybe during a weeknight so it’s not quite as busy, I’m sure the food would have been quicker if it wasn’t so busy.

Cool spot off the beaten path. NFL on tvs on the outdoor patio but sound is chill adult contemporary mix. Service was good at the bar. The chicken bacon ranch wrap was as expected and the onion rings were really good. Taco salad was very spicy.

Four of us stopped here for lunch on our way downstate. Food was just fine (we all had wraps), but the beverages were an issue. I ordered a fountain diet cola as there was no option in cans or bottles. It didn't taste right, which I find is frequently the case with fountain beverages. I don't know if it's the maintenance of the equipment or just the wrong mix of syrup to seltzer... No fresh brewed ice tea, just from the fountain. Water it was, and it was awful too. I ended up with a White Claw. FYI- Fries were an add on, and there's a service charge for using a credit card. Service was good, prices reasonable, the outside eating area spacious. With a stage for live music and a sand volleyball court, it looks like it could be a fun place to hang out at night. It is in the waterfront, but it's not situated so as to actually see it when seated at a table.
