Last night my hubby and I stopped at Hazel Marie's for a sweet treat. We had a single scoop cone of That !@*! Just got serious and a chocolate malt. The ice cream was good with lots of exciting flavors salted Carmel ice cream with cashews, fudge. My chocolate malt had a good malty flavor, wish it was a little thicker. The ambiance was old fashion and lovely. The service was very pleasant and the ice cream was delicious. The porcelin water fountain fit the scene, but was not refrigerated. And even though we carried water, no ice was available. Trying not to complain too much, it was a very pleasant experience.

Nice variety of ice cream, great downtown location. Eat inside or out at tables on the street. They also have floats/shakes, but haven't tried them yet. Friendly staff. Parking a little hard to come by at times for downtown plainfield, but will definately be back again.
