High expectations crumbled, just like the cake’s filling when we cut into it…I contacted the bakery to have a custom 1 tier horse cake made for a milestone birthday. All I’ve ever wanted is a custom baked cake made of fondant. I initially submitted my detailed order request online which I was able to input the type of frosting preference: fondant, the type of cake filling: marbled, etc.Vanessa from Milette’s contacted me to go over everything. I specifically remember saying NO buttercream frosting. I can’t stand it. As well as marbled (a blend of light & dark swirled cake mix.) When my husband brought the cake home, we were all so excited to open it and share it as a family. Upon opening it, I immediately noticed the majority of the grayish frosting that covered the cake was indeed buttercream, which we cannot stand because of its overly sweet texture. And it’s not what we paid for. But keep in mind fondant is usually more costly than buttercream.Also the cake mix was obviously vanilla with fudge filling (which is the filling I did ask for) but not marbled. To top it off, when we cut into the cake the whole thing crumbled and broke apart. This happens when it’s dry or stale. I’ve had Betty Crocker mixes taste better.I was so upset I actually started to cry. $127 down the drain for a cake Jewel could have made better.Never again.

Randomly found this place, and it was worth stopping by! I got a few of the cupcakes, and they were decent. I really liked the red velvet cupcake and the pistachio cupcake was different! They tasted fresh and weren’t crazy sweet (which was a good thing). Definitely worth trying out!

My fiancé and I just did a dessert table tasting here and everything was DELICIOUS. We tried the brownie bar, the peanut butter bar, the cheesecake, the cookies, a cupcake and the lemon bar. Everything was a good portion and tasted out of this world. We will definitely be visiting Milettes for more sweets soon and would recommend them for dessert tables.

I found milette’s cakes on google and decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. They delivered on everything I requested and more for my son’s 1st birthday. Their service is top notch and the staff are amazing to work with. The cake was absolutely beautiful, delicious and moist. Will definitely come back when I need another cake for an event.

Drove about 30 minutes. Purchased a few cupcakes recently. The icing was not tasty in my opinion. I was expecting buttercream and it tasted nothing like. The icing can make or break a cupcake and this icing broke it for me.

The cake tasted good and the delivery was on time which were all good things. Unfortunately they just left our eucalyptus we dropped off to the bakery laid out on the side of the table and never put it on the cake. I asked for our cake topper to be in the middle layer and they still put it on top. So overall my cake was nothing like I asked it to be like and I would recommend just saving any decorations you give for yourself to put on! But we did get compliments on the taste of the cake.
Miletti’s is officially my ONLY go to for my cake needs. The staff is extremely nice and professional. Their response time to inquiries are very quick. I was very impressed with the design of my father’s cake and most importantly the taste… the cake was absolutely DELICIOUS!!

I was excited when I found Milette’s online because I really love to support local businesses. The communication when I ordered my cake was great at first. I ordered a cake for a gender reveal, and paid in full. The bakery agreed I could drop off the gender of the baby Tuesday for a Friday cake pickup. Due to an unforeseen medical issue, I notified the bakery that we do not have the gender and it would be a few weeks before we did. I asked if we could reschedule the cake (I did NOT want a refund). The bakery told me that they couldn’t do that and that it was too late. I understand I agreed to these terms, but thought they would be willing to reschedule since I didn’t want a refund (and since the cake should not be already being baked 4 days in advance). We ended up picking up our already paid for cake to have anyways as a special thing for us, and the cake tasted like it had been sitting there for a week. Is that why I couldn’t reschedule? Because it was already made 5 days earlier? Although it was our “fault” we couldn’t confirm gender, we did not expect a cake that tasted extremely stale, especially since we paid $115 for a small 10 piece cake with no design. Overall, just disappointed in the cake itself, as well as the unwillingness to be flexible with our medical situation. This was our first experience here, and we will unfortunately not be going back.

Ordered my daughters wedding from milettes. The cake taste phenomenal and was the best wedding cake I ever tasted. No problem with delivery they always updated us.My only complaint is that they forgot to put the texture on the cake so it was plain. Was very disappointed that it didn’t look like it was supposed to and that was the only thing they had to do. It was in the order so don’t know how they missed that. That’s why they get four stars. Almost knocked it out if the park but just missed it.

DO NOT USE THEM FOR WEDDINGS. Horrible to communicate with, terrible service, ignored our requests entirely. We got different answers every time we spoke to them, it was impossible to plan/design with them as none of the employees knew what was going on. Despite countless emails and pictures explaining what we wanted...our cake was hideous. For example, we gave them gold baby's breath to spread through the tiers and they shoved the whole bunches into the top tier like antlers, none on the other tiers. They also acted like they had no record of us after paying our deposit and we had to fight to even get them to acknowledge that we existed in their system. I payed an outrageous price that I'm embarrassed to even admit for basically a children's craft project they called a cake. If you only care about flavor, go for it. But if you want a cake that's also beautiful, stay away. I've never had to leave a review like this one, but I don't want anyone else to regret such a big purchase like we do. All our other vendors were amazing, we're so disappointed!
