I usually have a great experience here but I called the other day after seeing a Facebook post about ordering catering for Easter. The woman who answered the phone said they weren’t open yet but she could definitely help me. That was great. It went downhill after that. She has to call her manager for help and didn’t put me on hold and I heard their conversation with her saying ‘ I don’t know why I answered the phone without knowing the number’. Very rude and if you told me you were closed I would’ve called back another time. Then today I needed to update my order and before passing me to whoever takes care of that I heard them say ‘ugh!’. I get that it’s a busy time but a little customer service goes a long way. I will not be ordering catering or stoping in their shop after this.

I love it here. Been here several times before but this is the first time trying an eclectic cheesecake. They had 2 kinds on their menu, goat cheese cheesecake and bleu cheese cheesecake. I wanted goat but they were out and 'settled' for bleu cheese but it's friggin amazing so I win!

I love this place so much!! I have gone many times w/ friends and have always enjoyed the wine/service/ambience. Stacy is my favorite but everyone is so kind. They offer complimentary tastings on Thursday nights. Their peppadew appetizer is so good and all of the food items are beautifully displayed. I have seriously considered trying to work there because I love the vibe and everything they have to offer.

There aren't enough words to describe the love I have for this place. First, let's talk about the town...the Wine and Cheese Co is located in the quaint area of downtown Plainfield, IL. Walking down the street feels like you're on the set of a Hallmark movie. Every time I'm there I'm waiting to see some big city executive woman who came home for the holidays and fully plans on going back home to the city, until she meets a handsome, successful, and wholesome man, who wears plaid, owns the local diner and has a big fluffy dog. He seems to be the complete opposite of her, but when he finally breaks down her hardened walls, she's really just like him. He woos her with his kindness, and rugged good looks, and she winds up staying for good... Alright, alright, let's get back to the restaurant review. The Wine and Cheese Co is just what you'd think it is, a quaint wine shop with an amazing selection of red and white wine, but it's so much more... Every single thing I've ordered to eat has been delectable. From shareables like Chevre Stuffed Dates, Red Wine Meatballs, and Burrata Salad, to Build Your Own Charcuterie boards and BBQ Chicken Flatbread. I can't forget to mention the dessert! Cinnamon Georgia Pecan Cake, Raspberry Mousse Cups, and Goat Cheese Cheesecake are just a few of the desserts they offer. The chef at the Wine and Cheese Co is extremely talented and effortlessly turns every ingredient into a masterpiece. Did someone say, Wine Club?" Why yes, The Wine and Cheese Co even has a wine club. The selection isn't your typical generic wine. The owners pick out this wine themselves, and trust and believe, they know what they're doing. Lastly, let's talk about the staff. Friendly, accommodating, and professional are just a few of the words that come to mind when I think of them.

Great staff with a kind of a Southern California vibe that makes you feel relaxed so you can enjoy their wide selection of great cheeses and wine. Zero stars if possible. A group of loud mouthed drunks made for a terrible afternoon. Then the owner tells us to move because they're "regulars". Never going near that place again, and I would advise anyone that thinks of going there to find an alternative.
