We had sandwiches and cherry pop, which was amazing, coffee, potatos and beerOur server - she had coffee tattoo on her wrist was amazing, the most fantastic server, caring, explaining everything what we needed and was just perfect! Good coffee, but wish they would offer something in the way of breakfast. They only offer breakfast on Friday/Saturday. Had met with someone for breakfast, but ended up only being able to get coffee. :-/

How did we not know about this place before??!! Traveling between Chicago and St. Louis this may be the best place to get a quality bite to eat. The chili was superb. Tender trimmed chunks of what I believe was pot roast with a nice kick, topped with sour cream, cheese and homemade tortilla strips. The Barbacoa Melt was excellent. My wife had a great looking just pounded pork tenderloin sandwich with very freshly made and tasty cole slaw. The cheese curds rival anything you could find in Wisconsin. Topped it off with a great homemade vanilla shake. Actually started off with that, reminiscent of starting off with a shake back in the day at Steak and Shake. We most definitely will be back. We'll have to say a fond farewell to our stops at Wally's while passing by or through Pontiac, as we now have a new go to place for great food on our list.

Stopped in after an errand. We live 45 min out of town but would 100% make the trip back just for the best mocha and crispy potatoes we’ve ever had! Super nice service and atmosphere too!

Honestly the food is wonderful, I remember one time I had such an awful experience at one of the restaurants down the street and waited 45 minutes for them to fix me a to go order for myself and 2 other people, anyway they gave it to the wrong person. So i walked to acres inn where they apologized for another businesses lack of professionalism and they had my orders fixed in ten minutes exact. I have never had a bad experience whether its a morning coffee or a long wait time for food, always prompt. Oh and I love shopping in the little store there and it all supports local and regional businesses.

Hit or Miss. Coffee always great because it's made to order. Food is fantastic if you are there on the day it's made. I've experienced "warmed up" meals from maybe the day before and was dissatisfied. For instance the cheese curds, if made fresh, were over the top great. Warmed up, they did not even resemble anything good. The server admitted that they were warned up and the cheese was melted away. It would have been good if they refunded, but alas they did not. So... something to watch for or ask about. I want this place to succeed. They need to be more consistent and fresh with the food.
