Stopped in here on my way to Indiana.Friend got a Cesear Salad, my daughter got a kids regular spaghetti and I got the fettuccine alfredo and added chicken.The portions were smaller than I would of thought for the amount. 10 $ for something that looks like a side salad. To me the food was bland no flavor in the alfredo even the bread sticks had no seasoning on top.The staff was super nice and friendly. Kept checking on us. The restaurant was nicely decorated and perfect lighting. Back area had the gaming machines. Very clean also.

Have eaten there many times before and it’s always been ok. Nothing to really write home about but ok. Ordered the lasagna and it was awful! Mushy pasta was way overcooked. Ate my salad breadstick and about 2-3 bites of lasagna. Probably won’t be going back.

I've ordered from Cafe Fontana Italian Bistro times and it seems like they forget one and two things. Ordered a bunch of food yesterday, September 9, and they forgot to put some toppings on my salad. We're supposed to have candied walnuts and it tasted just like plain walnuts, and there was no Gorgonzola cheese, which was a big disappointment because I love these kinds of salads with that type of cheese will try again, but this is the last time I will try

It had been awhile since we had been here. We live in the area and, in the past, the food was very good, but over time, it had kind of gone downhill. But, we were looking for a nearby place for a quick lunch that wasn't fast food, so we settled on going here. I had the Bruschetta Burger with a side salad... and I have to say, it was great! I was pleasantly surprised compared to one of our previous visits. The burger was cooked very well and was very flavorful. The only slight "ding" on the food review was that the Italian dressing on the salad was only so-so. It was a bit thick and goopy, probably from being in a super cool fridge and didn't seem to have very much flavor, but that was only a minor issue. There aren't many restaurants that offer a side salad as an option, so I was just impressed by that. Hopefully this trend will continue for Cafe Fontana. Since there are only a limited amount of non-fast-food options in Pontiac, I want them to do well. Seems like there may have been a change in the kitchen at some point, so keep it up!

Driven by for years and never stopped. Today I was told by a friend to try Café Fontana. I can safely say I found my new “go to” in Pontiac. The food was fresh and delicious. The young lady that took our order and delivered our food was VERY kind and hospitable. You can literally taste the freshness of the ingredients. Well done, and we can’t wait to return.
