“It had been awhile since we had been here. We live in the area and, in the past, the food was very good, but over time, it had kind of gone downhill. But, we were looking for a nearby place for a quick lunch that wasn't fast food, so we settled on going here. I had the Bruschetta Burger with a side salad... and I have to say, it was great! I was pleasantly surprised compared to one of our previous visits. The burger was cooked very well and was very flavorful. The only slight "ding" on the food review was that the Italian dressing on the salad was only so-so. It was a bit thick and goopy, probably from being in a super cool fridge and didn't seem to have very much flavor, but that was only a minor issue. There aren't many restaurants that offer a side salad as an option, so I was just impressed by that. Hopefully this trend will continue for Cafe Fontana. Since there are only a limited amount of non-fast-food options in Pontiac, I want them to do well. Seems like there may have been a change in the kitchen at some point, so keep it up!“
