Don’t bite the hand that feeds you. As a fellow small business owner, I’m disgusted and disappointed every time I walk in this bakery. The attitude of the family and their staff is terrible. They act like you’re a bother. I purchase hundreds of dollars of baked goods from them as gifts for my clients every year from this bakery. However, I’m looking for an alternative because of the terrible attitude and the treatment you get from this business. I bought some heart cookies this morning for my clients and the matriarch of this family owned business sighs and is pissed and says, “I don’t have anymore left after this” referring to what she had in the case. Guess what sweetheart, the early bird gets the worm. Want more business? Don’t want to run out of heart cookies on Valentine’s Day? Make more product!?! What a novel idea.

I'm shaking right now bro. My sweet mother tried calling and ordering a dozen Bavarian cream donuts and the roastie on the other end said 'no' and hung up. I've had several people tell me about how great this place is, and this is our first interaction?! Screw you and screw your donuts. My mother is a saint!

Very pleasant. Order was ready for pickup when I arrived. Amazing fresh baked goods!

In need of sustenance we popped into Pfaff's Bakery whilst driving through Pontiac. We were immediately greeted by a friendly face behind the counter who welcomed us, told us the story behind the bakery and allowed us time to peruse the wonderful array of cakes behind the counter. Armed with four Pontiac Danish pastries, two filled with apricot and two with blueberry jam, plus two cups of self poured coffee from a flask on the counter we sat down at one of the tables and started chatting to the gentleman at the next table. He was a local and equally as friendly, enquiring as to our journey thus far and where we are heading next. The pastries were beyond good and while we were there a steady stream of locals came in to buy pastries and cakes for parties and birthdays. We could not resist leaving with some cookies, a couple of turnovers (recommended by the young man behind the counter) and a chocolate cake in the shape of a large walnut whip.

I haven't been here in years. I'm always trying to lose wght. But I thought I'm going in. I got waited on very promptly, I wanted lemon Bismark they had them. I called my husband he wanted one. They have this chocolate thing looks like a chocolate covered little beehive.I asked what it was. Bought one. It's was amazingly good. Then the fresh bread. I love rye w/seeds. Love it too. I'll go back ....
