“Thanks to Yelper reviews that led me to this surprising gem in Rantoul. I'm working in Rantoul this week, and when I drove into town yesterday all I could see were the usual fast food restaurants. Sigh. But when I checked Yelp I found five star reviews for Asian Bowl Express, and I knew I had to try it. An enthusiastic five stars all around! Five star service, five stars for the food quality, five stars for the extensive menu. I ordered General Tso's tofu and spring rolls, both were delicious. I have had General Tso's at many different restaurants, often it is far too sweet. This was perfect, and a very generous serving too. Truly enough for two meals or for two people to share. The employee was very friendly and helpful, she answered my questions and made a recommendation that was perfect. Just what I was looking for. The interior has some beautiful plants. I ordered my food to go but enjoyed looking at the plants while I waited. Prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. Also, there is a drive thru. You can call to place your order and pick up in the drive thru if you want. This place doesn't look much from the outside, but what matters is the food and service, both of which are truly outstanding. You won't be disappointed!“
