So I saw this new restaurant/Bar pop up on Instagram. I made a reservation which required a $10 pp charge applied to the bill. My mom and I arrived for a Mother's Day brunch. When we walked in, no one greeted us and we just kind of stood around until someone looked up. I asked them were we supposed to just sit anywhere and she said yes. We took our seats and The waitress, Michelle, came to our table and was very accommodating and pleasant. However, this is definitely more of a Bar/lounge than restaurant. It has a very old school vibe and this vintage smell on the furniture that makes it seem less fresh. The music was good and the DJ was good as well but no one seemed that interested In the karaoke she was offering. We ordered wings (3 each so 6 total), side salad, onion rings, and a side of asparagus, 2 fountain drinks and that totaled $55. I know food is high but I feel like the lady over charged me. I asked for an itemized receipt and she said they didn't have those. Interesting. The only reason I didn't fuss about it is because she was very nice and I will probably not be back. Oh and she told me there were no free refills so my twoCokes were $8 total. However, I wouldn't have ordered two had I known the second wasn't a free refill. The chicken and rings were fried well and fresh but it just felt very pricey for such an outdated experience and small portions. They did give all moms a rose though :/
