“Found by accident, 5 mins before they closed and managed to eat the best cookie in the parking lot and sent my husband back in to grab the last one. Was able to get the last cupcake just had that and to say the least it was amazing! Young girl waited on me, so sweet, spoke highly of her town, if she wasn't the owner or related to them they have a five star employee. Definetly will make the 45 minute drive back to experience more of what they offer! I would highly recommend!”

“Have known Tina since she was a little girl. She was friends with our daughter and in the same class. She and her husband are excellent cooks and strive to give Roanoke good food and old family recipes. Roanoke natives really enjoy the Monge family recipes from Club 116 which her family owned. “Good Lord this place is great! My wife and I went there on a date, and we both absolutely loved it. We both had the Bourbon Puff Sour to drink, and it was so good we had to each have a second one. We also thoroughly enjoyed both our pizzas. The staff were really attentive and the owner made sure we were enjoying our visit. The atmosphere is also really great and the place was packed because of how amazing it is! You won't regret a visit to here and it's well with the drive!Also, I was enjoying my food and drinks so much that I forgot to take pictures before I got into them. The drinks are served to the brim!Dietary restrictions: There have plenty of options for Gluten and Dairy free.”

“We always search for local homemade ice cream on our hockey adventures and we stumbled upon Uncle Bob’s just in time! They are closing for the season 11/19, but make sure you stop in when they re-open!! Flavors were amazing and no gross after taste. This is legit the real deal. Not too sweet so the flavors don’t get over powered. Super friendly staff and plenty of choices! It’s a must stop even if you are just driving by!”

“The food here at Stringtown was delicious!! I had the brisket plate and she had the pulled pork plate. Comes with a generous 1/2# portion of meat along with 2 sides and a cornbread muffin. The food (all of it) was delicious and I can’t wait to come back! Super fast service, like lightning fast. The owner was there and stopped by to say hi and make sure the food and service was good which I really liked, don’t see too much of that anymore but was really nice. Brisket had the perfect amount of smoke, flavor, plenty juicy and not dried out. Same goes for the pulled pork. Very reasonably priced. Nice fully stocked bar available as well. First time here at Stringtown, was very impressed, can’t wait to come back! Next time I’m going for the baby back ribs!”

“It's a diner so nothing fancy. Food is good and service is great. It's very clean and prices are very reasonable. For a small town diner this one is good to go. I love their tenderloin sandwich. It's one of the best around.”

“This stop is a must for coffee and tea lover’s! The environment was great with plenty of seating for every one. The coffee and tea that we had tasted great and was very refreshing. “I was there for a seminar, so didn't see how the staff would regularly act, but what I saw was good. I had the lasagna dinner, and it was great! There was a goodly sized portion of lasagna with a fantastic thick meaty sauce. It came with garlic bread, which was way more than I expected! That was a meal in itself, was great dipped in some sauce. It also came with a salad, well, a simple lettuce salad, but it was fresh and their Italian house dressing was very good. I would definitely eat there again!”

“Touring from Chicago on bicycles. Stopped in here to escape the 97 degree weather. Knocked back a couple of beers and had a few locally made Butches Pizzas, I recommend the white garlic. Caleb was cool and the other patrons friendly.”

“I have had almost nothing but good experiences at any of the IGA delis. The only thing I didn't care for was their egg salad...I could be wrong, but it seemed like maybe they use the pre-packaged boiled eggs because the whites were pretty chewy.”

I think her name was Heather that helped make our sandwiches, but she was so patient and kind with my little, complimenting her choices, and just absolutely awesome. “Clean work station. All ingredients were fresh. So many subways at gas stations are subpar. So nice to get a fresh sandwich when hungry. This location has showers and full truck stop gas station. Good sold stop for anyone on a long trip. Very simple for subways to pay attention to this. Throw out wilted and soggy ingredients, and your reviews are will go up. Very happy this spot was well maintained.”

“Hardee's is one of them restaurants that is either a 0 or a 5. I will say that my last few experiences at the eureka IL Hardee's. Has been a 5. No joke, the crispy chicken meal is surprisingly great.”
