“Excellent experience!!! I recommend it 100%!!! We order Taco Dinner for $9.35, it has 3 tacos with rice and beans and it was delicious!!! I will come back again for sure. The service was pretty professional, the young waitress Waldemar was nice. You can order and pick it up too in case you don’t want to eat it inside’s. I just can’t say more bc I love the food. If you decide to come you won’t regret it!!!“
“Dinner was awesome! Growing up in SoCal and with my Aunt's cooking homestyle for me, I got spoiled. I had the crunchy taco dinner with shredded beef. The experience took me back to my younger days. Dinner was definitely homestyle, the whole dinner was home made even to the fried taco shells. The atmosphere and service made me feel at home. If your looking for a homestyle experience, this is a must. I have been there many times and it keeps getting better each time.“
“This place is amazing! The atmosphere is cozy, the margaritas are PHENOMENAL, and the food is absolutely outstanding! I've tried several dishes and it is all delicious. Everything is homemade; soups, sauces, specials. If you are traveling thru the area, do yourself a favor and stop to dine in or takeout. “I was finishing work and decided I wanted Mexican food before I had a meeting in Rochelle. I did a quick Google maps search and saw what appeared to be a small family business.Parking was easy and the location was easy to find. I sat down and after a recommendation from the waitress, I placed my order for a burrito with sides of rice and beans.I like it when I find a place where the flavor of the food isn't generic, but rather clearly their own recipes. El Senor is just such a place.The food was at the table in under 5 minutes, perfect temperature and fresh and was clearly prepared for me after I ordered.They had Spanish language music playing and the owner asked me if I preferred something else. I thought that was considerate but was happy to listen to what was playing.It's not a fancy place, but who wants fancy at a Mexican restaurant? It was exactly what I hoped when I searched for Mexican restaurants in Rochelle.I'll be back.“
“Best?Everyone here is super friendly, and you can tell by their way manner that they are proud of their product. Lucky me, the weather was fair, so I was able to sit and relax at the table they have under the tent. Dug into some perfect, perfect birria. Both of their salsas are delightful and flavorful, clearly a recipe with a long memory. Treated myself to a huge helping of jamaica and I will not be regretting it. This stop was a slice of joy in a long day.“
