This is my second time dining in at Bayside. The people are lovely and the food is amazing! The Shrimo and grits taste like home! I love the fact there are gluten free items! I plan to return when I come back to the Quad Cities!

Food was fantastic! The serving size was more than we could eat, and probably the friendliest service we've experienced in a very long time. Definitely recommend this hidden gem.

Wow, insanely good food. The Caribbean power bowl was absolutely delicious, packed with protein, balance of spice and sweetness, crunchy cabbage and creamy sweet potatoes. It's hard to find places that do both vegan (which is friendly to those with dairy allergies) and non vegan food, AND kids menu.Comfy family restaurant vibe inside, easy to bring the kids. And the kids menu has all the staples to please even the pickiest. Darn near everything is made from scratch, it's like gourmet home cooking. Highly recommend. Only in town for the weekend but we will make it a priority to get to this restaurant when ever we're back.Dietary restrictions: Vegan/ dairy free

The food and service was amazing. One of the best restaurants in the quad cities. I had the jerk chicken sandwhich and it tasted great. Donavan gave us amazing service and checked in with us regularly even when he was manning the restaurant on his own. I noticed he took care of everybody else as well and did great at taking care of everyone’s needs. He was very kind and very quick. Thank you for everything! Also I think I started my addiction to their strawberry soda. Best soda i’ve ever had!

First time eating here. Staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming. The atmosphere was great, and food was cooked to perfection. They make their own beverages, so don't go expecting regular soda of any kind. The drinks were very good. We were asked several times if everything was to our liking and if we needed anything else. Price was exceptable for the amount of food served. Definitely will be returning for additional meal choices. They have a menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's worth the visit. Very clean restrooms as well.

We came in near closing on New Year's Eve. They had no more gravy, so I couldn't try my first choice. I did not enjoy the taste of the chorizo in the meaty burrito I ended up with, but it was missing it's usual gravy topping. I would come in and try the food again, under better circumstances.......went back two weeks later at the same time of day and had a totally different experience. My food was great! The gravy was worth waiting for. I will definitely be back to try more!

Caribbean food right here in the Quad Cities! I have to be gluten free, but was able to order a soft shelled crab sandwich and house made chips. For this New Jersey girl, who grew up catching and eating Blue Clawed crabs, it was heaven. Not something I have been able to have since my celiac diagnosis. (Not to mention living in the Midwest, where blue clawed crabs are unheard of). On another trip, I had the eggplant sandwich. It was amazing! The grilled pineapple added a sweetness that counterbalanced the spiciness of the sauce. This is a family run business, and they aim to please. The menu is 98% gluten-free and there are vegetarian options as well.We will be back.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options available.Dietary restrictions: Most things can be made gluten-free.

Food was so great! I had a BLT wrap and they were not shy with the bacon! My boyfriend had the falafels which were delicious as well. We called in our order and when we went in to pay/pick up the lady and gentleman were very friendly and inviting! Will definitely be back :)

It felt like all the peace and goodness of a family that means and stands for something. The vibrancy, comfort, and food are always fresh and always generous with the portions. I left feeling better than when I arrived. It was at the previous Davenport location that I experienced this family own true city treasure. The city needs more successful black owned as well as all varieties of personal owned business to give the Quad cities its soul back. Thank you for the experience!
