I'm sorry Jim had a bad experience. Hard to believe knowing this place. Food is ALWAYS fabulous and consistent. Great service. We eat there about once a week and carry out now with the quarantine. I trust them 100% for good food and good service

We enjoy dinner at Salamone's North at least twice a month. Katie is a fantastic server and every member of the staff makes us feel welcome. The food is always exceptional and we feel like we are among family. We love that almost every Friday night is packed. Even during snow and ice. Such a terrific, neighborhood feel with excellent food and service.

Somebody wrote that they can't understand why this place doesn't have many reviews they don't have many reviews because there's nothing good to say about it but I did tell you their pizza socks they use sheet cheese and it's chewy and the Italian sausage it barely even has a taste to it 299 for water down pop I can go to the grocery store and buy a 12 pack of Pepsi for that don't go here it's a rip off just because they have an Italian name doesn't mean they have Italian food terrible I don't do reviews go to Muscato is in Belvidere it's worth the extra trip you'll save money and leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face my wife took the leftover pizza home and I threw in the garbage when I got it out of the car good luck

I love everything about Salamone's North! I live super close by and order takeout from here at least a couple times a week. The pasta is always hot and fresh and the extra thin crust pizza is delicious. The food is always ready to pickup quickly and the staff is super friendly. Great neighborhood spot!!

Great pizza and lasagna, delivery is always on time if not sooner. I had yet to eat in the restaurant, but appears extremely clean and accommodating.

Really surprised this place doesn't have higher reviews. I came with my family to take advantage of their Friday special on fish and we were absolutely blown away at the quality of the food!! We've been to their other location in Cherry Valley but this is our first time here. First of all, our waitress was so friendly and accommodating. I can't eat dairy and she changed up my fish to be dairy-free. Their homemade minestrone soup is INCREDIBLE. This was probably my surprise favorite part of the whole meal. Definitely give this a try even if you haven't liked it in the past. They also give you free bread with every meal that's pretty good. I wasn't a huge fan of how much sesame seed they put on it, and that was my only complaint of the evening. Most of us got the fish and my baked cod was good but the fried is awesome. If you're not going the health-conscious route, I'd highly suggest the fried cod. My wife got the "tour of Italy" which was an enormous portion of lasagna, chicken parm, and fettuccini alfredo. I unfortunately couldn't try any of it because of the dairy, but she said it was awesome. Give this place a try if you're looking for something new or want to revisit an old favorite. They've got a menu full of a variety of great selections for anybody. Can't wait to come back!

This place is the bomb.com! The pizza is one of the best that I have had! They are generous with the sauce and flavor. I haven't tried their deep dish pizza yet, but I will definitely be back! Our waitress was super nice and stayed on top of everything the entire night. I personally love the pizza here much more than Rosati's, Lino's, and pizza chain restaurants. I highly recommend trying it!

Ordered delivery. Husband and I shared the special salad and tortellini. Delivery fee is dependent on address I believe. Tortellini was delicious, came with bread that was still warm and soft. It also came with a soup, I got the potato bacon soup which was also very good! Very creamy and tasted homemade, big chunks of potato and lots of bacon. The salad was yummy! It came with Italian dressing but my husband insisted on getting the ranch too. I'm not sure if it was homemade but they were both so good! My husband was disappointed that it was missing the onions though. Will definitely order again! Can't wait to try the pizza next.
Food is just ok! But the ridiculous prices are an insult! Johns pizza is the best in town!...You can get an extra large pizza at Johns, for the price of their large pizza here! Won't be going back! Nothing worse than a bussiness that overcharges!...especially when it's not very good!!

Probably one of my favorite places to go for a family outing. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend it. When I think great service, I think Salamone's. Some people say that places like these make you feel right at home, but here, that's the complete opposite. This place lets you know you're going out and giving you the experience you want, is their specialty. All the servers and waitresses do their job to get to know you and they invest in you not only as a customer, but as a person. The food is always fresh and never takes too long, even on those busy weekend nights. If it's not too busy, I'm seated right away and if it's busy, I never mind the short wait. The owners and management are really nice and make sure that if there's ever even a little problem, they do their best to make sure every thing is okay. A place that truly puts customers before anything else and never delivers a bad experience.

Pulled in at 9:15 tonight as I watched a girl lock the front door and turn off the open sign even though it says everywhere online that they are open til ten. Dined in once, not bad, nothing spectacular, take out pizza once, sauce was sweet which I don't prefer but was still pretty good and if u like sweeter sauce u would def like it But them locking up an hour before closing as we just arrive did it for us

Went back for a 2nd try this time on a Wednesday night. Plenty of tables available and much quieter than last time. Had spaghetti with a sausage which was really good. Had great service as well. We went right at 5:00 and sat right down. Would like to see a nice crusty bread added to the dinner. Otherwise we were happy and will return hopefully hungry enough for lasagna.
