Complete trash! I had been hearing a lot about this place, mixed reviews for sure so I decided to give them a try & see what the fuss was about for myself. However As you can see from the pictures they did me bogus! So wrong... I paid $15.35 for 1/2 lb tip dinner 2 sides no drink. I got about 7 or 8 dry, over smoked, jerky chewy, hard pieces of "rib tips" that were so hard they were inedible. The Macaroni & cheese had potential but it was mostly burnt cheese & inedible, I also got the cornbread as a side & it was ok but unfortunately I couldn't enjoy the meal. I called and complained, the young man that handled my call was very kind and sweet, he offered to remake the order and insisted I got a bad batch of tips (laughable & far from the truth I wouldn't feed that to my dog.) I kindly declined and requested my money back. Took the food right back, got a refund & I will never return! As kind and sweet the young man was at the counter, he really tried to make it right I appreciate the effort in the second attempt but it should've been good the first time. I also must mention that the feeling I got was they were going to sell every crumb right down to the burnt, dry inedible pieces and they were hoping that whoever got it would just chop it up as a loss and not complain or bring it back! (This was from the vibe I got from the folks standing in the back kitchen, they did not care at ALL) So spend your money here at your own RISK! I'LL NEVER GO BACK!

I'm kicking myself for not taking pictures of the food... This was my first visit here (Not my last!) and I feel confident in saying Rockford has some great BBQ in town! You could smell the meat smoking from the parking lot! If you have been to Dickies BBQ, try this place and you will never look back. Dickies uses smoke 'Flavor' and you can easily taste the difference. Little Nicks seems to be expanding. They bought a new building and they even got a new food truck. This is one place to look forward to seeing the food truck in your area.

Lol I would never recommend this place, sides are 5$ for sample sized, my child wouldn't even be satisfied with that, I'm not even over exaggerating it's literally a sample size, two spoons full n the food has no seasoning.

Food and service were excellent. I had a two meat dinner of brisket and chicken. Sides were macaroni and cheese and Gouda/jalapeño corn bread. Portions were big and so was the taste. Corn bread and Mac and cheese both packed a little heat that perked me right up. Brisket was tender and tasty. Chicken was delicious. Smoky and tender. Now I have leftovers for another meal. There is no place to dine in here, but taking the food home provides a real treat. Staff are really friendly and anxious to help on your decisions.

Had Little Nicks for the first time last night and was VERY impressed! Pickup at 6 p.m. and everything was ready. Smoke smell on the ride home was intense! Got the 1/2 LB brisket and a half rack of ribs, beans, slaw, mac, and cornbread. Cornbread was flaky and delicious, sides were on point and the BBQ OMG... I haven't tasted BBQ like that, with that much smoke flavor, in a long time and rarely if ever around here. BBQ sauce wasn't necessary but was bomb as well! I'll definitely be going back. Oh and I tasted Thad's brisket chili that won that chili cookoff and that might be the greatest chili I've ever eaten in my life. And I won a chili cookoff too :) Anyways, hit these guys up! Great family, great chef, fantastic food!

Carry out order: pulled pork, brisket, and St. Louis Ribs. Sides of Mac n Cheese (creamy, cheesy goodness), Slaw (chilled and just the right amount of sweetness), Fries (perfectly seasoned), and Baked Beans (I can't even describe this. Nirvana.). Y'all this place is the bomb! EVERYTHING was delicious. The sauce really brought it home too. WILL. BE. BACK.

Fabulous ribs....the rub was the best! So so coleslaw. A bit pricey but among the BEST ribs we've ever ever had, including in Memphis! Could be a bit more welcoming and would love to have a few specials. Great ribs!

Follow what the customer order's for starters. We spent $80 on food the side's are half full there's no brisket with the platter. Very disappointed for the amount of money
Nicks is a great surprise for BBQ. I guess they opened 2 months ago. Spread the word. Front girl could use a little better welcoming but the food is good.

BBQ is always on point! Yesterday i had a opportunity to beta test the new and might i say AMAZING infused BBQ sauce now being offered at Little Nicks. Woow the flavor was all there and was very relaxing as well. For me its a bonus to have this sauce paired with Little Nicks great food THANKS AGAIN AND SEE YOU SOON!
