First visit, an IVR trip. They thanked me for my service as I wore my Vets Roll jacket and Navy cap. I learned about this on Google's Maps. Fast service, attentive person tended our table, making suggestions and assisted with keeping the table clean. (IVR is Independence Village Rockford, where I live) I look forward to going back.Parking: Very spacious.

Been here twice both times great service and good food the employees are very inviting and friendly such a change of pace and refreshing... Most places around here the employees are extremely rude but not here and the food is delicious

Came in with a group of seniors from Independence Village. The service was incredible going above and beyond for all our needs, even bringing over samples of their delicious brownies. Everyone enjoyed singing the National Anthem some even getting misty eyed. We will definitely be back

Tried Mission BBQ for the first time, excellent food! The place was clean and inviting, and does a great job promoting respect ans support for the service men and women of all branches. Staff were polite and helpful, quick to get our order together and attentive in asking if all was well. The brisket was tasty, half a chicken was THE BEST CHICKEN I've ever had- wow! Portions were generous, pricing reasonable, it's great to have this option available here locally.
We went for the first time today and it was amazing. I have had plenty of bbq places before and I just figured it was another bbq pit. Boy was I wrong. The food was so good and it was fresh right of the kitchen. Everyone was super friendly and even the kitchen staff looked up and acknowledge us when we came in. The cashier even came out and explained their menu and sides. She help us into deciding what we wanted. The Restaurant was super clean and well maintained. The bbq sauces all were so good and of course you can’t forget about the sweet tea and the sweet potato pie. They even set up a time to talk about catering our wedding since we’re having trouble finding a cater. All the staff there went above and beyond and we will for sure be back.
