Used to love this place and tonight was absolutely terrible. 3 young kids working, waited forever. Shrimp was burnt on tacos, hair in the tacos… then opened up my salsa and there was hair hanging out of that! My tacos sat there for about 5 min and had to ask them to wrap them up so I could go.

I used to give them 6+ out of five stars, my favorite place to eat! Now, something aha changed recently and whoever is working this location is so bad at their job. I have no idea if they got a new worker or new staff entirely but it's horrible. I order from doordash mostly and it used to be perfect, now when I get my order it's wrong and missing stuff the last three times. Also just ordered and there was HAIR IN THE FOOD ???

I really liked the EXCELLENT burrrrrrito that they make. Consider THIS, they mis together the ingredients when they are about to fold the burrito. Cheifs kiss amazing ? The atmosphere is lacking in my opinion. They need something else in there, maybe music?

Love how the food is prepared, always fresh any time that I have went in. The service has always been pleasant. A definate hidden gem in the Rockford area.
They respond quickly to online and app orders. I’ve recently tried their Tofusada tacos and they were nicely spiced and tasty. It’s a good alternative on the days I’d like to go meatless. I have noticed they cook the tofu when I order it (as opposed to other meats being ready) so it may take a couple of minutes longer, but worth the wait.Vegetarian options: Tofusada is available as a protein source.

Pancheros is essentially the vibes of a Chipotle or Qdoba so don't assume it is going to have a wow factor. What is the wow factor is the food. Their burrito tortillas are made fresh as they are in a dough ball and then pressed down to form your tortilla which is then placed on the grill for further cooking so it comes fresh. Once you get your toppings in the burrito like you would at a Chipotle or Qdoba then it is time to eat. It is a step above those places and just as convenient. For fast eats, definitely recommend.
