So we’ve never gotten bad food until tonight. Super bummed because it’s my birthday and my bf drove from Woodstock to get the food. We ordered 2 orders or fried mushrooms and they are burnt. These were so hard like rocks and when you pushed on them they disintegrated. LOL. So someone knowingly put these in our bag. They knew they were burnt and $10 is $10. Please dbl check in the future. :)

Staff always charges for more food than ordered, every time I've been to this restaurant and have ordered extra cheese on an Italian beef they put no cheese. And recently ordered a Philly cheese steak with peppers and onions and somehow they forgot to put the Philly meat in the Philly cheese steak and I received a pepper and onion cheese sandwich. Staff cannot take orders properly. Also the sandwich was dry yet smelled like an fat man's sweaty armpit.

Gyro was not the quality I am used to. Meat was chopped in small pieces, more tziki sauce than meat, and messy. It poured out of the pita onto the wrap.

Consistently good value for their food, near impossible to go wrong on their menu. Ironically I don't think their gyros are the best, but everything else was awesome. I personally prefer the fried mushrooms and hot

A Rockford staple. Nice they have a drive thru too. The gyros here are really the star of the show (my wife would tell you the sweet potato fries are too). I honestly have come here for years and have never gotten anything other than the gyros, because why mess with perfection. Pro tip: get the sauce on the side so you can control how much is on there. Sometimes they go really hard and it's a little too much (for me).

I used to love this place when I lived in Rockford years ago. I don't know if the food has gotten worse, or I just didn't realize how bad it was when I lived here. I was so excited to get Uncle Nick's, but it was garbage. I couldn't be more disappointed.
