ZERO stars…food served is UNSAFE , GERM-RIDDEN and CONTAMINATED…..Kitchen must be DIRTY inside.….Got SERIOUS ITCHY RASH all over the body after the food. *** Don't ever go If you don't want to end up in emergency for your kids ***…..Service is bad, waiters don’t even care about your comments on food smelling funny. Restaurant itself doesn’t know how to handle customers feedback; making up stories and blaming the customers ….instead of owning it. There are other places who serve the same food and put customers first. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant again.

This location is bad. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was like eating chicken jerky; it was so dry and overcooked. The Sweet and Sour Pork was more like fried chunks of pork fat. Guess they ran out of good cuts of pork. The stir fried noodles and duck was mostly noodles with a few slivers of duck. On top of that, their prices have gone way up so it was definitely a waste of money. Cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Some dishes were better than others but overall the dishes tasted good. The potstickers and fish were the highlights. The dim sum portion of duck was a little disappointing as it was mostly bones. Service could be better (gave us the wrong dish, forgot a dish and didn't check up on us at all). I'd suggest just getting takeout here instead of dining in.

We were sad when we found the restaurant was closed on a past Sunday. Today sad egg foo young wasn't available for carry out.

Never was the best Dim Sum even before the pandemic times, now they have elevated the practice of price gouging to an art. No one needs to pay $5.10 per serving. If it were a stellar above average taste, maybe. I have no interest in paying for their interior decorator. I was a fan of the Chinatown location but even there they are way overpriced. Dim Sum in Chicago used to be quite good, now...forget it. I gave it a terrible rating, because "avoid" is not an option.

Closed - couldn't pay the rent...Just around the corner from Chef Ping, it was only a matter of time.

This was a rather lack luster experience. I walked in not expecting much bang for the buck. The food was rather mediocre. Some foods were downright flavorless or otherwise bad. I wouldn't come back here to eat. The decor here is very nicely done. But the food needs to be done as good as the decor. Staff are patrolling for empty dishes and clear tables and refill drinks pretty quickly so I have no qualms about service here... place gets quite busy seemingly. Perhaps we don't know where the good dishes are. At 12.00 a head this restaurant is barely worth the money. Some changes will need to be made if they want to make it in such a competitive area. However accessibility in a wheelchair here is very well taken care of.

This is a new place that took over residence in the old Old Country Buffet place. For those wondering this buffet offers the exact same food as Hibachi Grill. The same like they should be a Hibachi Grill .... but they're not. The food is bad and cold. But the cold could be the fact the air conditioning is on in the winter so bad you can see everyone huddled up and wearing coats. There is nothing that involves a flame here. The hibache grill that cooks the food is not a flame, its a giant hot plate. Some of the food is mislabeled too. Crab Rangoon are not Cheese Wontons. There were a few people pointing it out as Crab Rangoon. My girlfriend normally chows down food at Hibachi Grill... but here she tried bits of everything and found plenty of stuff she didn't like. She didn't like so much there were 2 entire plates of food just sitting there. Eventually the waitress asked to take it away. Entire plates of food. That's embarrassing. The price is around $10 per person. I suggest avoiding this place. Even on the way out two people asked if we liked the food... because they didn't.Sorry this review might just seem like bashing a brand new place, but it had some problems. I wanted to see if the food even had ignited warming flames underneath the food. Please just go to Hibachi. I'm sorry, but if this place serves Hibachi's menu but isn't a Hibachi Grill, that probably means they weren't good enough for the franchise :-(

Lots of food to choose from. Some of it is good and some isn't so good. 8 bucks for lunch plus 2 for drink. I'm not sure if I'd come back. I wasn't impressed but nor was I turned off. There is other stuff in the area that I'd rather have for the price.

I think the place is out of business. We had a great party there last week, but my husband went over on Friday and there were no cars, and there was a "property available" sign in the window.

The poster on 07/28 was correct. We drove by there this morning about 10 A.M. and it is closed, with "Property Available" signs on 3 sides of the building. I originally posted about this place on 4/2/2013 after our 1 and only visit. I've noticed that it had been getting more negative reviews than positive ones lately. I think it only lasted about 5 months.

Just an FYI to future customers: Drove by the Flaming Grill & Buffet today (July 28, 2013). There was a sign hung OVER the Flaming Grill sign that said "Property Available" (or something to that effect) and then a phone # below it. (See photo) However, there were a few cars parked in front of the buffet so not sure if the business is still open or already closed. (Never been to FG&B coz not a fan of buffet food but figured future customers may want to know.)

You know people really do have to weigh the reviews with price. And when you do that, this place is definitely worth a visit. Food was fairly fresh and staff was very friendly and attentive. I won't go through the details of dish after dish as another yelper has already done a good job of that.

I somehow convinced my lunch crew to come for the buffet last week as I had a coupon to get the buffet for $4.99 if we bought a drink. Flaming Grill and Buffet is in the old OCB space so it must have worked out well to pop in a new buffet. When we walked in, it just seemed sad to me. It was pretty empty, weird florescent lighting, no music, and sadfaced employees standing around. Even with the pretty depressing vibe, our waitress was on top of refilling our drinks the whole time. I was pretty amazed at the food options. There was the usual Chinese buffet fare but then a bit of dim sum, some sushi and a few that were actually quite good, a hibachi grill and then oreo cookies, giant sausage you cut yourself, frog legs and chicken feet. I actually liked what I had at the buffet. Some of the maki rolls were good, the pepper chicken, general tso chicken sweet & sour chicken were all good and not spicy at all. I liked the sausage plus enjoyed the ice cream options. Flaming Grill Buffet is not half bad but my coworkers have already let me know they have no interest in returning. One said he got sick after and blamed me. :P Wah wah.
