Stay away from this place!!Went in the other night to get a bite to eat and then saw they are charging an upfront gratuity for dining in %13 for three people and %15 for 4 or more!!I thought gratuity was based on service they have no wait staff ?Don't even waste your money here much better places than this around the area.

The problem with this place is that it's so inconsistent. I've gotten the same dish 4 times and every time it's been like a completely different dish each time, as if whoever is cooking gets to use their mom's recipe. I've decided not to return. With so many taquerias around, it's easy to go to another place. If you go, be prepared to pay extra for using a card instead of cash, and to get nickeled and time for every little thing.

It was a takeaway order and the truth was it was my first time but the food is not there. Good, I ordered a carnitas burrito and they didn't taste good, the meat was sweet, the same with the birria, sweet taste, I didn't like it at all, I wouldn't eat there again or order ?

I only get the pozole on the weekends. It is so good, just the way my mother makes it. I don't know how the other food tastes but the pozole is great. It is pricey though.

I recently discovered this place & have been here 3x in the past month. The only thing I didn't care for were the steak tacos. The chicken & ground beef tacos are good. The quesabirra taco & salsa are amazing.I am not a fan of all the extra ridiculous charges. Gratuity for dine in & beverage tax but I appreciate good food so don't mind paying the extra. However, upon leaving today, after finishing our food, the lady chased us outside accusing us of not paying?! You literally walk in, up to the counter, place your order, pay for it & wait for them to bring it so idk how she could've possibly been confused, considering she was the only one there, besides the cook. I paid cash- exact change. It isn't good customer service to accuse your returning customers of not paying.

A friend recommended LaTortuga Feliz. This family-owned restaurant is a hidden gem; clean, brightly decorated, and in-door seating. We stopped in on a Friday evening and were immediately greeted. The menu is available online and in a book at the counter. You can sit and eat or take your order to go. Everything is customizable, prepared when you order it, and worth the 15-20 minute wait. The quesabirria dinner was delicious with just the right amount of spice, for me; it comes with 3 quesabirrias, refried beans, and Spanish rice. The steak tacos were packed with tender steak and the cheese was gooey. The steak burrito dinner came with freshly made guacamole and Spanish rice.

The food is better over the last year. It's very pricy compared to other places in the area. I ordered a steak torta nothing added to it. The price was 13 dollars..for a Torta???
