Bub City ORDOne of my go to places when flying in and out of Chicago.I usually get the grilled cheese and haven’t been disappointed yet.If you luck out and go on Friday and Saturday they have live bands.Make sure you try the house honey whisky it will make you wanting to keep coming back.We stopped in on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn’t too busy, server was friendly and the food was quick.Looking forward to my next visit next time I’m back in the Chicago area.Vegetarian options: It’s a BbQ place maybe the coleslaw ?Parking: Parking garage

Just plain laziness from the bartenders on the north bar. For a Saturday night trying to grab a few drinks right at midnight an hour before close ? Bartender leaning against beer taps as he’s pouring beers picking up dirty cups purposely instead of actually acknowledging those at the bar trying to order ? Makes no sense why one would work a Saturday night shift and completely ignore a couple trying to order drinks and generate revenue instead walk around the bar doing nothing but drag his feet. Terrible service would 100% go spend my money downtown where there’s actual bartenders and not beertenders that pick and choose who They want to serve

We ordered from here and the food was sooo gross! Not playing! The Mac & cheeses is out of a bag and with a hand full of melted cheese on top... blah. The pulled pork sandwich had NO flavor at all! And the side salad & nasty vinaigrette was basic af.Over priced bland mediocre food.

This is a cute American barbecue spot. Lots of families and groups of friends here. Our waitress was friendly and I liked the decor.Parking: use the parking garage (restaurant will validate parking so it’s free). The parking garage has an elevator (disability friendly).We ordered a sliced brisket sandwich with a side of Brussels sprouts, phoebes mac and cheese with chili, a fancy old fashioned and a zombie beer. The sandwich was definitely the highlight.Parking: Restaurant will validate parking
First time at Bub city. Food was excellent. I have never been offered a choice of lean brisket, lean & fatty, or fatty. I choose lean and wow was it tender delicious brisket. Everyone in my family enjoyed there meals. Cocktails were great. All around great visit. Only ask would be to have the game sound on for the restaurant during March madness.

The food was delicious and was brought to the table sooner than expected. The only reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is that they upcharge your bill 3% by default. Their reason is to "combat inflation so that they dont have to increase their prices." They say you can ask for the 3% to be removed from your bill, but to be put in such an uncomfortable position is once again odd. If you need to increase your prices, then do so.
The service and food were great! Parking can be an issue so just be aware if you plan on parking. Our waitress was very helpful and insightful and answered and addressed any questions.

BC recently made changes to the menu (wings) + all the plates seemed lacking for the price. This just kind of threw our experience off as we came in specifically for their old wings. Additionally, we had window seats and the sun was beating down without any window shades and it negatively affected our experience as it was very hot and impossible to see anything. BC is usually one of our more reliable stops that we frequent often but this was not our best experience.

Had the whole family out for a birthday dinner. Followed by Joe's live. Food was fantastic. We had fish fries we had brisket. We had mac & cheese and brisket. We had the combo chicken wings and ribs. We had fried pickles a bunch of different cocktails and everything was fantastic.

My daughter and I decided to give this place a try and we sure are glad we did. We ordered the chips with pimento cheese and guacamole! The pimento cheese spread was so good and although normally don’t care for guacamole well I ate the hell out of that too! The loaded bacon tots were perfectly crispy and every tot had a topping, the portion size was more than sufficient for the 2 of us, we ended up taking some home. For our main dishes I had the brisket that had just the right amount of smoke flavor and it was melt in your mouth perfection, the brisket came with a small dish of Cole slaw which normally I do not like but I will say this about Bub City slaw…..MORE please. The only disappointing item on my plate was the half piece of Texas toast. It was Texas bread. Not toasted not buttered or even hit with some garlic butter. Kick it up or don’t bother with it as a half piece of bread had no use on the plate. My kiddo ordered the fried chicken sandwich and holy crispy chicken Batman!!! Perfectly crisp, not a bit soggy and the chicken itself was juicy and it came with a good helping of hot crispy waffle fries. Because we had such a hard time decision making we also ordered the skillet cornbread, it was not dry but not too moist with the perfect amount of sweetness and topped with the honey butter oooooo yes please, lip smacking good. The pit beans we ordered were the most delicious I’ve ever had. Taking that first bite I got the perfect bit of sweetness and then came the kick. Not overly spicy and the heat hits at just the right time. They were so good I had to order a second helping to go. Bub City Rosemont was worth the trip. It’s not too horrible far from home but close enough to the city that my city driving anxiety kicks in. I’d totally do it again in a heartbeat for more of the delicious food and the abundance of whiskey options. Try a hurricane or do like we did and get a whole pitcher! Top all that with an awesome bartender and Bub City you get 2 thumbs up and we will most certainly return.
