I've worked at this building for 2yrs now, and it seems that Deli Time has just gotten worse overtime. They revamped their menu and added self-checkout kiosks. What they fail to tell you is that not all ingredients on the menu are available, and will try to pull a fast one if you don't notice or don't care to come back downstairs to complain. I've let many things go in the past; orange peppers in place of green peppers, eggshells in my omelet, rubbery chicken in the salad bar, but I've had it. I ordered a Western Sunrise sandwich and it just made my stomach turn, no peppers or avocado...just a spoonful of mushy scrambled eggs, ham, cheese and cream cheese. I'n that case I'll save my $6 and buy the regular breakfast sandwich for $2 less. When I went down to complain, I was told "well technically cream cheese is $2 extra"...what a joke!

Over priced. Rubbery chicken and breakfasts that are lower than hotel continental quality.

The STAFF is really nice here but they are hampered by sub-standard food. The ingredients aren't high quality and it shows and tastes in the food. They do sushi (outstide vendor) periodically but that's the exception to the rule. Deli Time has a monopoly in all three buildings near me so they are all pretty much the same menu and ingredients. Substandard product in, substandard product out!

It's conveniently located and the people working here are very friendly and willing to help but the quality of the food and prices are awful. Coffee was cold, Venetian panini sandwich that I ordered was just like simple bread and meat. Don't think will come here again.

The only reason I go here is because it is convenient. Overpriced and over/undercooked salad bar items. Save your money and spend it on Uber eats or another food deliver service.

I paid $6.29 before tax for this! The description taken directly from their website: Traditional Venetian Panini $6.29 Thin sliced salami, ham, & Pastrami with, oregano, Balsamic vinaigrette sliced marinated tomato and caramelized onions. . . . This is literally just meat and bread, and not much meat at all! it's no use complaining to the staff in the kitchen itself, they're just trying to do their job. I don't know if they're not equipped for the specials listed or if they just don't have food service experience, but it's always like this. This sandwich is almost a cry for help.

Prices continue to go up. Not a lot of value for the money.

Just got charged 25 cents extra for a tiny sprinkle of cheese on top of my soup - never agreed to this. Chargeback.

The people that work here are so friendly and willing to help. Variety of food lacks, wish Deli Time corp would spend a little money and revamp the food choices more then every 2 years. Would like to see more deli style sandwiches with pickles that don't cost an arm and leg. I think you need to take a page from deli shops or pre made sandwich shops in the city.

I gave it four star over three because I like getting breakfast from here as it is super convenient. Although the eggs on the sandwich is some sort of egg patty (on bagel $3.16). I then usually default to chili for lunch---jumbo chili is $3.96. The flatbreads are decent and salads are pretty good. The other reason this gets four stars is that the folks that work down there are great!

For Columbia Centre I All I want in the morning is a hot cup of coffee, and after lunch too. I would rather be late to work and go out of my way to get coffee from Starbucks (or even Dunkin if I have no choice) than get coffee from here. My first day, I thought I'd never get coffee from anywhere else. It was great! I don't know what happened towards the end of April, but their coffee is the coldest coffee I've ever had. I can't even make it up the elevator before the coffee loses all heat. The people that work there are very nice, so they're the reasons this place gets 2 stars. 1 star is for the food. It's okay. There could be healthier options, I'd be willing to pay for that too. The tea options could be better too. How about some mint tea? That's pretty standard I'd say. My office doesn't have a microwave, otherwise, I'd probably never get anything from here (unless the coffee improved). Hot coffee, pleaseeee!

This was my original review for the Deli Time across the street (oops!). Here is the repost and I'll update it soon: This D-T is rather convenient, especially if I've forgotten my Breakfast or Lunch at home. I enjoy the reasonable prices for the breakfast sandwiches; however the lunch prices seem a bit high for what you get. For example: I ordered the Big BLT one day, and it was about $8 with chips and no drink (I'm rounding up slightly), and although the bacon had good flavor, the bread was a little disappointing. I was excited for a toasty BLT on sourdough, however when I unwrapped the sandwich at my desk, the bread was barely toasted and left it 'gummy' on the palette. Additionally, when I tried the egg sandwich, the English muffin was very grainy and needed a little toasting love. I've heard their croissants were good so I plan to give that a go when the opportunity strikes, but it seems like I'm having bad luck with the bread. Ideally, I want a sandwich I can't make myself at home, and these aren't quite doing it for me yet. I'm trying different things to find my go-to order when I need a good lunch/breakfast. Note: I've also heard the club Panini was good too. I haven't given up hope on Deli Time, and hopefully I'll have any update that will add some stars to the rating. But for now, 3 stars is my rating.

The Delitime chain is in my building at work--Schaumburg. It is not tasty. The people that work there are nice. That is what the second star is for--the food gets 0. I really believe thier scrambled eggs are from powder. Not a fan.
