First time here. Slow night but had a great time. Food was good quality and not just average bar fare. Steve the bartender was quick with the drinks and helpful with recommendations! “Jet Pilot” is the drink to try!

The service could have been better! Over all 3 out of 5 not bad for a tiki bar.

Whoever the bartender is that closes on Monday nights—extremely rude and condescending. I hope the owner sees this and has a talk with him about his attitude and him intentionally closing the bar early. And if he IS the owner—do better amigo. Will not be returning to this establishment, and will be spreading the word.

Came here on a Monday night, the Bartender guy was super rude. Will not come back again

PS ..

January 8 2024 So hopefully the owner reads this and knows EXACTLY who was bartending. First time here, it was cute & I had high hopes. I arrived at 9 ish and barely anyone was inside (not a big deal it's Monday night). Bartender was super unfriendly and I didn't like him what so ever... if you're old, starting to bald, and dislike bartending then you probably shouldn't be a bartender my guy. He made weird condescending comments all night to different customers. It made not only the customers uncomfortable but I was uncomfortable just listening to him talk to others that way.... I'm in the industry and you just don't treat people that way. To top it all off, he randomly decided to shut the place down early because he wanted to go home... so even though it says they closed at 1, he decided to close everything down and did last call at 10:30... If you say you're open till 1 then why are you doing last call at 10:30? Laziness. Anyways, I give it 1 star for the decorations because it's cute and has potential. But your bartender keeps you from getting any more than that. Do better and hire intelligent people.

The Tiki Hut was clean and had a nice decor, but that is the one positive thing I can say about this place. The drinks are way over priced for what you get. I ordered the Jungle Bird. For $15, I got what amounted to two mouthfuls of liquid in a sippy cup that was stuffed with a piece of pineapple. The registers are set to charge what amounts to a $4 per drink. The bathroom sink was filled with vomit and other debris and was out of toilet paper. Needless to say I will not be going back.

We went on a Saturday evening and it was pretty dead. Our group each ordered a different drink and when we tried each others they all just tasted like pineapple juice and no liquor or anything else and had two cups of ice and about a 1/4 of liquid. Very underwhelming. Pricey. Not great. Felt gimmicky and not tiki authentic, was playing club 90s music and decor was just subpar. far superior tiki locations in the Chicagoland area.

The best Mai Tai I have had in the Chicagoland area. Those that have been to Hawaii would know what I'm talking about. Excellent service. The drinks were elaborate, so don't expect fast food service.

This place is fantastic! The atmosphere transports you to the perfect tropical getaway, and the staff’s contribution to those pleasant vibes is unmatched. Every person I encountered here was friendly, welcoming, and personable. Trever was my favorite! The drinks are also PHENOMENAL. I’ve come back several times since my first visit and constantly recommend Pete’s Tiki Tiki to anyone I can. Definitely check it out!

We walked over to this place after visiting the AMC. First impressions were not great. Security was overly weird and questioned our ids. A bit off putting. We get inside and the servers weren't nice or pleasant. Everything felt very rushed and when we asked for the recommendation of what's popular, the guy just said everything is and walked away. We had two drinks and decided to head outside to the game area. Once outside, we played Jenna and that was fun. The music was pretty great and is probably the only reason that I would return. The drinks were meh and expensive.

Sat at bar for 10 min and ignored. Helped girls who walked up behind us after I sat down but not us. As locals being dismissed like this won’t have me coming back! There are soo many options around here!

Service was a bit slow as I went on a busy day, but drinks were fun & good. Food ordering was done through an App and delivered from next store down. I liked my drink so much that I ordered a 2nd round. My friend said it was delicious and we didn’t have any negative to add.
