The food was good! I enjoyed the chips and various salsa they have at the salsa bar. The horchata was delicious and free refills! Which was awesome. Everything tastes great. My only "complaint" is they forgot my food so my husband and daughter started before me. But the taste is everything made up for it.

Wonderful location with great service and tasty food. We order the loaded Nachos with Paneer and was absolutely prepared and done week. The quality and quantity was well worth the price you pay for it. I would definitely recommend this place.

Very over priced for the quality of food. Maya salad was watery, Protein bowl was missing ingredients. Sad.. this place used to be really good.

I ordered a burrito bowl and was charged $16. I turned down the complimentary chips and salsa, but asked for the plastic cup (that the salsa would have come in). They said no. I was hoping to have a larger cup for the salsa bar, because the cups at the bar are so tiny. The service was efficient but my bowl was only half full. Great Salsa bar, all the Taco Maya's have one. Most of the Mexican places in the area charge $10 or less for the same meal.

Love this place! A small chain restaurant that speaks to the cultural fusion that is Chicago. The the burritos and wraps are huge and filling, lots of vegetables and plenty of your protein of choice. The service is professional and while not cheap, you get good value for your money. Several vegetarian options so I don't have to eat the same thing every time!

Outstanding chicken tacos, American Style. Gratis chips & salsa are excellent too. Fast service, fair price. Our family loves this place!

I had a terrible experience at the Rosemont location. The customer service there is typically poor (the employees are usually gossiping with each other and don't greet customers when they come in for takeout), but I've continued to go back because it was convenient and the food was pretty good. I won't be going back to any location after today. The staff at the Rosemont location was extremely rude, and argued with me when I asked for a refund ($17). I requested a refund because my tacos were given to me in a box that was not closed, and literally looked as if they were thrown into the box. One taco was outside of the box (loose within the bag). The manager did not speak English so I spoke to an employee who argued with me, and told me they would not give me a refund. Once I brought the food back, the woman again argued but then threw the food away when she saw how carelessly it was put together and ultimately gave my money back. It's concerning that a business is willing to lose a longtime customer over $17. They clearly do not appreciate or respect their customers.

This review could be for the entire Taco Maya local chain, but these are imo the best gourmet tacos in the Chicagoland area. As someone who knows and values the authenticity of Tijuana and Mexico City style tacos (there's nothing in Chicago that comes close), I tend to get bored by run of the mill taquerias that don't really offer up anything inventive by way of the usual taco staples (Al pastor, tripas, suadero, carne asada, etc) so it's refreshing to see the novelty tacos cooked up by a very seamless marriage between Indian and Mexican cuisine that actually makes sense! There's a real respect shown here by the owners for the integrity of the Mexican taco that a lot of the bougie taquerias in areas like Logan Square or Wicker Park or whatever don't quite understand. Real invention paired with real spice knowledge and sasson. Salsas are on point (and they even warm it up with chips on the house when you dine in). Wonderful frozen margaritas and cocktails. Legit horchata. Thoughtfully chic (and clean) decor in all the locations. This is my go-to when I'm bored by the usual al pastor fare; hoping they'll expand even further into the city!
