The men outside on the bench were super sweet and friendly, but once inside the waitress didn’t even smile and was very non sociable. Almost seemed upset she was even there. You can see the kitchen through the little window and it looked like a tornado hit. I have never had a burger I do not like but the one I received here was the soggiest, most disgusting thing ever. It was so bad that the entire way home I felt sick, I ended up puking and having to go to the bathroom. Even after all that just the thought of the burger makes me sick to my stomach. Would recommend heading out a little further and trying some place else.

Worst gravy ever. Taste like it's made out of hamburger Grease bad. somebody needs to tell them you don't make country gravy with beef grease.

Food was fair to average for a small restaurant.Service was poor, waitress was not friendly at all, no smile and got snotty with my wife when she asked her a question. We felt we were intruding on the place. Heck the guys sitting on the bench outside the door said Hi and have a good day to us when we left.We will not be going back anytime soon

I eat here often throughout the month for lunch. Their cheese balls w/ Ranch are amazing, my Favorite. Everything I've ever ordered from there has been delicious. Some of the service is bad just depends on the waitress that's there. There's usually only 1 waitress & 1 cook so take it easy of the rude comments about the workers. They're doing the best they can. I even had 1 waitress go back to help the cook so I could get my to-go order for lunch faster. Small hometown venue. Overall, I recommend this place as I said I eat there often for lunch.

Goodness, I don't typically give 1 star reviews. We were staying locally and headed out for dinner. Smoke on the Ohio was 1 of just a handful of places nearby. From the moment we opened the we felt very much like outsiders. Have you ever watched a movie that showed a scene of "outsiders" entering a restaurant? You know, when all the customers stop and stare? That happened to us. I thought, no biggie, we are outsiders. We made our way to the counter and waited to be seated. After 15 minutes with no greeting or being sat we left. There were 3 tables out of a dozen or so filled, not sure what the reason for the lack of service was.We decided to go across the street to the grocery store and had THE BEST steaks ever and enjoyed them in the comfort of our vacation home.Maybe you'll have better luck.Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time. Explore everything!
