Ordered Steak Sandwich. They told me 10 mins. Went back in 5 mins. It was ready .When I went in. U could hear Cutting on a Board. I assume - They are trying to give impression that it is fresh. Tasted it. Wasn't fresh. More Bread than minced meat. Sadly. Just go to the All time favorite. Off 111th Street . Get U a real Steak Sandwich. It's more Money now. But well worth it . U have to watch your car and back. But U get Fresh Meat. More Meat. The Same All time Favorite. If u are not near 111th street. Just go to The Dollar Store and get Manwich and Bread . Call it a night. As for this place. Do the neighborhood a favor and close. Go home and pretend U are Cutting Fresh Meat.

My first initial thought as a cashier would be allergy right.. so I ended up getting my food didn’t think to check the polish and it had both on it already upset. Tried to support this BOB. Initially steak sandwich I ordered with a few other coworkers, was good. It had everything I asked for including cheese. When I went by myself, I asked for a large steak & cheese with extra sauce & also cut in half. An older male, with saltnpepper hair, complained about me wanting it cut in half. He complained & I could hear him. He talked about how that was 2, 6". And how I was saving a dollar by ordering it that way. "We keep missing out on that dollar!" His exact words....all of this because I simply asked for it to be cut in half. So I ended up briefly having words with him. I heard the girl with the lashes, that works the register, say she was gonna talk to them about that. So when I actually looked real close at the menu, it was $6.99 & the large was $12.99. Even tho I was buying the large, he felt like I was getting over on them over $1. I left there angry. But ended up going back once for someone else & then because Popeyes was having an issue & they're literally next door. So I noticed they went up to 7.99 for a small. I won't patronize a business that will do this. It was done out of pettiness because a customer asked for a sandwich to be cut in half. This one can't be blamed on corona or anything. That guy was ready to explode. And then he drowned, I mean drowned my order in red sauce. If I could give less than one star, I would. $1 for the shugga shack...I'm not going back...no, not me Jack!
Food is really good. Best to call your order in if you don't like waiting. Limited space inside so I waited in my car. They have good deals everyday so check them out.

Yes folks, Shugga Shack, is ALL THAT!! I generally get the Sweet Steak sandwich (chopped steak) with fries and sauce on the fries. They are compared to another establishment in the city. I think Shugga is way better. And I do mean way better overall. The food is very good, the device is good. But even better...THEY take your order over the phone and it's ready when you get there!!!! WOW what a concept (sorry lol shade for the other place). But yes, give them a try. Think it will be your go to for a Sweet Steak Sandwich!!!

This was about 3-4 months ago. Tried to make sure my order was correct. Had them repeat it back to me and to the cook. Still got it wrong. Very little sweet peppers and no sauce on one steak sandwich. And no hot peppers at all on my other steak sandwich. Very disappointed!Won’t be back.
