This restaurant has good food but the wait time is excessive even if you call beforehand. The prices are reasonable. The customer service is ok. The low rating is due to wait timing. The restaurant is clean. No bathroom. There's a few chairs to sit and wait.

I had 2 large rib tip combo with links, and a 6 wing with mild sauce. I've been coming here for over 2 years and I've never received bad food. The links are all meaty and juicy and not burnt nor are they dried out! The customer service that I receive from what I believe is a family owned establishment is nothing but super sweet, GOD FEARING professional, and they are tentative of the detail with getting my order correct is always a plus the only thing I would suggest is that you strongly call your order or if you're able to order online I suggest doing so only because there can be anywhere from a 30 minute to 1 hour wait especially if they're super busy.

Never order on DoorDash or any app, they always run out of food and will cancel your order after you've waited an hour.

This my first time going here with my kids, the wait was not bad at all , they got everything right by this the first time coming the wait is like any other restaurant, the cashier was very pleasant, and my chicken was still crispy when I got home, my ribs was on point, I’m an event planner, and yes This will be my go to place!!! God bless woo woo’s barbecue. The food was GREAT!

I'm never disappointed. The sauce on the tips leaves me wanting more. I just wish it was more fries but I wont complain. The food here is really good

I'm new to the area and decided to give this place a try. This was the first & LAST visit!I placed an online order at 3:25pm for a regular rib tip and link combo($18), I received a text and email confirmation saying my order would be ready for pick up at 4:08pm, well at 4:08pm the cashier said it wasn't ready and to give it 8 more minutes, at 4:16pm the cashier said the cook burnt the hotlink so give it 8 more minutes, I received my order at 4:40pm, got home and opened the order and I had about 11 burnt, seasonless, meatless rib tips bones(yes bones/no meat), a hot link, and fries

Well, I had to see what all the excitement was about, so I decided to pay Woo Woo a visit as recommended by coworkers on 2/9/2024 for the first time. Let me start by saying that I purchased 2 large tip/link combos and a full slab and the links were on point, but my order of tips were mostly pieces of bone and barely had any meat on them.As of now, the full slab is in the fridge and will be eaten later. I have to say that after reading the reviews prior to my visit, I knew to call in my order ahead of time so that I wouldn't have to wait long. After working all day, the last thing I want to do is wait for an order of food. I ordered at 5pm while at work, and when I left work at 6pm and got there at 6:15pm, .I still had to wait and left the establishment at 6:30pm. I feel like getting my order 1.5 hours after placing it is unacceptable. The combo meals were lacking with ? and after spending $77, I expected better. My first visit didn't live up to my expectations & I'm undecided about any future visits. That's it... that's all!Parking: There's a lot of customer traffic, but it clears out regularly.

Food is good, everything else is terrible!!! Never order online, they will cancel your order, and now it's a week before you can get your money back. Prepare to wait at least 45 minutes to an hr for your food. Shiiiid....it's been times where they have told me they don't have no ribs. HOW TF DOES THE RIB JOINT, NOT HAVE RIBS!!!

Today's date December 16, 2023. My husband and I have been wanting to try this food for the awhile now and finally we did.I ordered the large tips with link and 4 wings and fries. The tips were so good with a smokey flavor. I really hope they decide to bottle the sauce it was so good. Now for the chicken wings they were cooked just the way I like them and they were SEASONED so well. I live in Richton Park I will definitely be back again. It was worth the drive.

Wait times never are accurate. The food is not Nasty but not the best . I feel like they give me a lot of rib tips that are mostly bone which is not good . Fries are lacking. Cashier was on her cell phone not attentiv, asking me any questions or anything . Told me coming up when I asked how long and ended up being 18 minutes even after coming when they said it would be ready. Guy cooking always seems in good spirit . They need a better cashier .

Woo Woo's BBQ presents a frustrating experience, especially for DoorDash customers. The delivery timeline seems to be on a leisurely stroll, testing the limits of your hunger. The staff's attitude mirrors the sluggish pace, offering little in the way of customer satisfaction. Chronic understaffing only exacerbates the issue, turning a simple meal into a waiting game. Last week I had 3 drivers show up at Woo Woo’s, text me they were waiting and 10 minutes later abandon my order. THREE DRIVERS GOT TIRED OF WAITING!! I think part of it is that they only have two chairs for people waiting.Despite the operational hiccups, there's a silver lining in the form of the restaurant's commitment to authentic barbecue. Piles of wood on display hint at a genuine smoking process that elevates the meat. It's a shame, however, that this dedication doesn't extend to portion sizes, particularly when it comes to the rib tips. Expect stingy servings that leave your taste buds wanting more, but not in a good way. Woo Woo's has the potential for greatness, but it seems they need to stoke the fires of efficiency and generosity to truly satisfy their patrons. And maybe some staffing changes with people who care about service. The young lady I met a couple of times should not deal with the public in any capacity.Next time I want barbecue I will drive a little further to Big Daddy’s in Schererville. The staff is fantastic and super helpful. And their portions won’t leave you hungry. Plus Steve Harvey endorses them and I doubt he knows Woo Woo’s even exists.
