This is a solid fried fish takeout. I happened here by shear chance as I was in the mood for a Lenten fried fish meal but another restaurant in the area had closed. I found this on Google. When you go in, the place is impeccably clean, no fried odor, spotless. Its a small space, takeout only. The employee (owner?) who served me was attentive and to the point. She was the only one there doing the front of the house and she was managing great. I did a phone in order from the online menu which listed their fried seafood offerings but when I went in I found out that they actually have some daily non fried side offerings like soul food type items such as red beans and rice, greens and also spaghetti. It wasn't listed on their website you would have to inquire when calling. The fish fry was solid, its a very light salty cornmeal type coating, not thick or greasy. I had the catfish filets, jumbo shrimp and cod nuggets. The seasoning was well done, a little salty, didn't require any extra seasoning . I ordered some of their mild sauce which tasted similar to a Louisiana style hot sauce, some homemade tarter which was above the usual expected average and homemade definitely not out of a jar. Cocktail sauce was solid standard tasty. I was pleasantly surprised by the potato salad... Didn't know what to expect. A lot of places might have some sort of commercial potato salad with too much mayonnaise and probably sucked. But this was actually a very nice homemade potato salad, not overly mayonnaise, fresh flavor This was very nicely flavored. Same with the coleslaw. It's all homemade here and you can tell its done in small batches, fresh quality. The price was commensurate with the quality of the fish that was served. Overall, I would highly recommend this place! I'll definitely would be back and can't wait to try some of their non-fried side items.The only comment I could give to the restaurant would be to update their menu for how the sauces are ordered and perhaps a preview of the daily side items that could be ordered. Otherwise I could ask when I call but it would have to be more of an on-the-fly order and I wouldn't want to waste too much of the employees time deciding over all the options.

Overall, the takeout experience was a delight from start to finish. The food was very flavorful, being that it's cooked to order, which is always a plus with great portion size. The service from the staff was very welcoming, and I would recommend visiting Soul Food Sundays. But if you're looking for a variety of seafood this is the place to visit.

Owner was super nice to me gave me free dirty rice and spaghetti. Order the lake perch meal and peach cobbler both tasted fresh, sweet, good quality and absolutely delicious would 100% eat here

I have been frequenting this place for several years now. It is a take-out chicken and seafood place with very good food. I usually order chicken or 2 piece cod fish dinners. The wings are always a good size, nicely seasoned and crisp. The cod comes in nice sized pieces, crisp coating and very nicely seasoned. My hubby LOVES their catfish (and wings too). We always order food to be prepared with lemon pepper seasoning. The dinners come with fries and coleslaw, and their cole slaw is especially good when fresh. The only reason I rate 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the service. The service is pretty good once you walk in, but over the phone, not so much. I often feel like I am bothering the person on the other line, and they just don't sound warm and welcoming over the phone (this could just be me). The biggie for me is that they are not always open during their posted times or close early. This has happened a lot over the past year. However, when they are open, the food is delicious, you get your order on time, and it is right. I definitely recommend, but call first before you go.

First time stopping at Bs Shrimp & Fish after driving by the area and seeing this new spot had opened up. I tried their shrimp, corn fritters, onion rings and spaghetti. Everything was bursting with flavor, the shrimp tasted very fresh. They make their own homemade sauces and what a bonus to find they carry other options like wings tenders, desserts, mac n cheese and much more. So glad to know we now have this jem in the neighborhood. I will be a returning customer for sure!

I have been looking for an authentic soul food restaurant/takeout for a long time and I finally found this gem. This place made everything fresh for us and customer service was outstanding. The food taste like it just came out of a home made kitchen from the taste to the freshness. I am so glad I discovered this place and this will definitely be my go to spot from now on!
