They are NOT authentic. Thier soups are bad and tasteless. They need to learn how a true Mexican restaurant serves thier food or sell the restaurant.

Fantastic, best place in Schaumburg. It's as good as places in the city.

Our server was friendly and attentive, but the food was awful. Very salty and greasy (excessive burps and a bad taste in your mouth after dinner). One positive is that prices are slightly lower compared to similar Latin restaurants in the area.

Used to go here when it was El Meson. We went on a Thursday night - not too crowded. The indoor dining space is renovated with a long bar, big screen TV’s for sports and nice tables. Less seating than before but great not to be on top of the table next to you anymore. Outdoor patio wasn’t being used anymore but still a great space for warmer weather. Service was excellent. Margaritas were huge and tasty. Food was very good. My husband had enchiladas and I had the fajitas. Good size portions. Chips are good salsa is meh. We would go back.

Ok I’ve had good Mexican Food before, but wow everything here is so well seasoned it was amazing.Such a total find by the Schaumburg library… in a quiet little sleepy strip mall.I know I’m probably butchering this up, but for Mexican Independence they has a special Beria burrito in sauce, so we had that and steak enchiladas. The meat on both dishes were seasoned so well!We also had a mango and strawberry frozen margaritas and I could be wrong, but they tasted like real fresh fruit… not some mix. It was amazing, but word of warning they are huge so super filling :)The interior is very modern and also set up to be a sports bar as well. In terms of weather permitting seats… they seem to have the whole front courtyard and there seems to be plenty of seating outdoors as well.Parking: The strip mall’s parking is actually in the back so you have to turn into it from the side street instead of the main.
