Overpriced food, limited variety, slow service, ordinary ambiance.I was disappointed with everything. I visited in a group of 11 on Saturday evening. They only offer 3 Thalis in the week-end. No ala carte. There is not much difference between Gujarati and Kathiawadi Thali content so practically just two choices. Guj/Kathiawadi and Punjabi Thali. The menu lists a lot of items but they offer very limited options in Thali. Just one sweet in all 3 Thalis, including Punjabi Thali. Is Mohan Thal even a Punjabi sweet? Reminds me of Henry Ford's Model T. You can select any color as long as it's black. LoL.Anyway, for the price charged ($25 + 18% gratuity, nearly $30 per dish + taxes), the quality of food, the lack of variety, and a limited number of items are overpriced and not worth it at all. I would not revisit nor would I recommend it to friends and family.But there is hope. The buttermilk was a saving grace. The concept is also good. If only they work on the above feedback and improve, I will be happy to give them a second chance. Best wishes.

Menu is on the website is misleading. We decided to try it out after checking the online menu. But they were only serving thali on Sunday evening. They would not switch puri for chapati. I would have had to order separately. They had puri bhaji for kids which I wanted to try but the servers told us we could not order kids menu for adults.I would have appreciated some flexibility. We left without ordering the food. After reading other similar reviews now I feel I saved on my money.Constructive feedback for now. Best wishes.

Let me start by putting it out here that my review of four stars for K king is a generous one, simply because the quality of the food for the price you pay for the unlimited thali is mediocre. When someone starts a high end Indian restaurants they need to find a chef or a cook who knows the right ratio of spices, especially for a $25 plus taxes plus 18% gratuity thali. I would pay a premium price for the right taste of Indian food any day. Unlike other reviews that complain about the service. It was much better. Our needs were attended to constantly but perhaps it was because we went for an early dinner too. I always like to give new restaurants a second chance. I hope they take this review objectively and revise the formula and recipes for the key dishes that they offer in each of the three thalis. And if they're thinking that this price will keep them profitable. I think that business model is flawed because unless the quality improves significantly people won't pay the iPhone price for a Motorola phone.
