Waitress was kind. Food was tasteless. We got French toast, bacon, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, and sausage. Honestly all of it tasted like water and had zero seasoning. This was a disappointment as I was excited to try the diner after seeing the positive reviews. We ate a bite out of each order and declined boxes and the waitress failed to see we did not enjoy our food and offer to discount check. Do not recommend.

We had family living in the area take us here and other family recommend this restaurant also. We had high expectations from all we had heard and we think it exceeded our expectations! The food was incredible, service top notch and it was one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. There is plenty of parking outside and plenty of seating inside. Highly recommended!

Chicken soup is the best. They give you so much, i couldonly eat a small ortion of my lunch.They should change portion size to a cup not a bowl. I felt like it was a waste. My sandwich didn't taste as good the next day.Everyone got a drink refill but me. Not very attentive for our waitress.Rolls on table did not taste fresh.

Restaurant itself was pretty decent sized as was the parking space. Service was good. They have a mini slot machine area in the back. Sign says pancake/bakery but no huge selection....cheesecake looked dry as most of the pastries did...bakery items did even exist. Prices are decent tho, for a party of 3 it was about $15 a person.
Been coming here since I was a wee lad. Lovely place, lovely staff, and a delectable menu. Recommend this place to anyone in this part of IL.

This restaurant is usually accomodating, but today I realize it is Father's Day, but my daughter's hash browns were burnt, I pay enough I feel I should have gotten credit at least the cost of the hash browns,next time I will go to another restaurant, perhaps Southern Cafe

My husband and I used to come to Omega all the time before the pandemic. Now they're only open until 2:30 PM I love how they have a special menu for the day and you have a choice of one of three different soups or a pretty decent sized salad and a dessert of your choice from the bakery. My husband ordered the Cobb salad and it was humongous he couldn't even eat the whole thing. I ordered pork chops and they were so good. The portion sizes are always huge, and well worth the money. The dining room is always full so you know that Omega is a happening place. They give you a bread basket that also has crackers in it. My husbands salad came with a bowl of soup (he chose minestrone) The other two soup options were cream of chicken and rice or French onion. I decided to have the salad with ranch dressing. For dessert we split a large sized chocolate eclair with a custard filling which was cold and delicious. If they were open late we would be dining here weekly! I definitely recommend this restaurant and make sure you bring your appetite!

only go here once a year or so on special family occasions, this time around it was still good. i had the house favorite omega omelette. it was delicious really good took me by surprise honestly. the orange juice is always a must have here def recommend. other than that our pancakes were kinda dry def had to add some syrup to it. friendly environment, nice atmosphere love the people here.
