We were told we would have a 5 minute wait and the three girls at the hostess stand just stood there and talked. I figured there was some automated way they would find out when a booth had been cleared. We waited 10 minutes I didn’t want to be snarky about it, but when we got to 15 minutes, I finally went up and asked if our booth was ready. We were standing right in front of them, so it was obvious we were waiting for something. The girl looked at me and said what, what are you waiting for? I told her we’d been waiting for a booth and she said that they could see us right away. As we walked through the dining room there were probably 20 empty booths, it was 3 o’clock on a Saturday. There were very few people in the restaurant. Just irritating That they just ignored us and we’re more concerned about having their conversation then waiting on the customers.

I had a dinner at this location early this evening and I must say that I was very disappointed with the food and service. The appetizer and dessert are pretty good. However, the salmon and mashed potato were bland and the broccoli was overcooked. My waiter didn’t even asked me about my food. So, I had to let him know my concern. In addition, the service was so slow. Seriously,I sat there for over an hour waiting foran overcooked broccoli, and flavorless mashed potato and salmon. I felt like I was eating frozen foods cooked by Mike (Microwave) it doesn’t taste fresh. With that being said for the expensive price I paid it’s absolutely NOT worth it! definitely not coming back.

Went here Saturday, March 30 for my daughter’s 17th birthday.. we usually don’t have issues with this place but for some reason today was PRETTY BAD! We came in around 5p to get our names on the list since weekends you can’t do reservations for more than 6 ppl ahead of time. We had 13 ppl and 2 infants. We were seated pretty fast, maybe only 15-20 min wait. Our waiter ABEL, was FANTASTIC.. he was on top of everything, we didn’t even really have to ask for a drink refill because he was already there with another one.The issue was the dinner… both my daughters (one was the Birthday girl) ordered the Salmon dinner (I forget exactly what it is called) .. both came out RAW.. pink, shinny, and slimy.. when we noticed this the waiter immediately apologized and said he would have the back re-make it. We were fine with that. In the meantime, everyone else was served their dinner EXCEPT FOR ME! I was sitting there and I guess they forgot to make my food. By the time they came out with my food my family was already done with their meal. I told them to just box it. While still waiting for my 2 daughter’s food to come, my daughter’s boyfriend did not want to say but the pasta was under cooked, and so hard (he didn’t finish his food), my brothers rice was hard and once my daughter’s salmon came out.. guess what it was RAW again (the below picture). The birthday girls fish was actually cooked but her younger sisters was raw. Then the manager came over (she didn’t give a name, she was short w/brown hair) she was very rude! She would say sorry but then add in that my daughter with the raw salmon was still “consumable.” I was so furious that I told her it was still swimming in the ocean, that’s how raw it was and she continued to say we were wrong. Her and I kept arguing for about 10 mins (I was actually surprised because she didn’t even try to stop the conversation from escalating). The only reason I stopped talking to her was because I looked at my daughter’s face (the birthday girl) and she was going to cry. There was a couple next to our party that even apologized and said “What happened to customers being right.” I just want to say thank you to that manager for ruining my daughter’s birthday and ABEL for trying so hard to save my daughter’s birthday… He should be a manager or get a raise… that lady should get fired!

This was one of her favorite places to eat, so we came here to honor her.The interior is just as big and pretty as I remembered. It had been over a decade since the last time I was here so I appreciated the neat attention to detail this place has more. We sat in a booth and I started with a cherry pineapple limeade. That was really good!The menu is just as massive too, but somehow, for the most part, the food is surprisingly good! Usually big menus mean trouble for food quality, but not so much here. I got a dish that I remember eating with my Mom: Chicken Madeira.The flavor was just as good as I remembered, and the texture was better than I remembered! More tender than I remembered. But what I really wanted to order was a dessert my Mom got that I remember very much: The Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake.Again, just as good as I remembered! The only thing that'd make it better would be if they brought a whole cake out ? And for $9.50, that's very reasonable considering the size of the slice!Our waitress was wonderful and knew why we were here, the maitre d must've passed the message. She told my Dad that she understood the pain, because she lost her husband about 5 years ago. She told him some uplifting things and also shared some resources about grief for widows and widowers. That was absolutely incredible!She even had them write "Celebrating Mom" with chocolate syrup I've never seen such a considering waitress before.

Only doing this because the manager gave my sister a hard time probably because she thought we were trying to get a discount or something.Just ate here today for my niece’s birthday.I had the gumbo which was good but the rice was under cooked. It was so crispy. The rice I had in my MREs while I was in the Army tasted better than this. I just ate the gumbo with no rice.My friend had the tacos which also had the same undercooked rice.My 2 niece’s both ordered salmon. The center was under and both asked to get it cooked so it wasn’t raw. One came back cooked and another came back raw again. The manager gave an explanation that the salmon can come out raw. Ok but she sent it back to get it cooked more. Why couldn’t they both be cooked thoroughly. Why did they bring back one cooked and one raw?I didn’t even want to mention to the manager about the raw rice but I brought it up because she was getting at it with my sister. She couldn’t care less about my complaint.Even the neighbors said shouldn’t the customer be right.Not to mention my sister’s food didn’t come out till we were all finished with our food.Most of us were planning on getting desserts, which was the main reason to coming here but we ended up just leaving.We ended up throwing out all the food they gave us to take home because we didn’t know if they had done anything to it. Not taking the chance after how the manager spoke to my sister. We didn’t trust it.The only good thing was the waiter. He was awesome very attentive and nice. Was also sorry for the food but it wasn’t his fault.

We had a reservation for 8pm, it is more than 30 minutes to be seated, we were seated at the back in a boot, the table was sticky, dirty and had fruit flies everywhere very bad atmosphere we might as well ate at McDonald where at least it’s clean - my wine came 45 minutes late apparently they were very busy and still “making my wine” very slow services in between. Not recommended. We like our waiter, he was very nice! although we barely see him
